Job DescriptionSodexo is looking for a Full-time, experienced and reliable Driver/ Porter for a Private School.
Duties would include putting away, organizing deliveries, loading/ unloading of food products for service, moving product/ equipment between campuses. The Driver/porter must have the ability to work independently and be able to make decisions and troubleshoot issues that may arise.
Schedule may change due to operational needs i.e. caterings and school events
QualificationsMust have the following:
- Clean Valid B.C. Drivers Licence
- must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Foodsafe or equivalent (beneficial)
- Must be willing to obtain a Criminal Record Check for vulnerable sector

Position Summary
As a Kitchen Porter , you play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen. You are responsible for ensuring all dishware, utensils, and cooking equipment are cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards. You will also assist with general kitchen cleanliness and support the culinary team as needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, cutlery, and cooking equipment using dishwashing machines and manual cleaning methods as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area, ensuring proper storage of clean items.
- Keep kitchen floors, counters, and surfaces clean and free of hazards.
- Dispose of kitchen waste and recycling in accordance with company and environmental standards.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning duties, including wiping down counters, cleaning spills, and restocking supplies.
- Monitor and report any dishwashing equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Executive Chef.
- Follow health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Support the culinary team during busy service times by quickly cleaning and returning necessary items.
- Participate in deep-cleaning tasks, such as cleaning kitchen hoods, vents, and storage areas.
- Monitor and clean public washrooms during high-traffic periods, especially in summer and busy evenings.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or kitchen leadership team to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Previous kitchen experience is an asset but not required - training will be provided.
- A strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to follow food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

We are looking for an experienced and creative kitchen assistant to join our team at Ena Lake Lodge for the 2025 season, a luxury fishing lodge that hosts up to 12 guests per visit in 6 individual cabins. You will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of food preparation and service, ensuring quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction. You will also collaborate with the lodge chef, front-of-house staff, managers, and owners to provide a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities and Duties of this position include:
- Maintain the Ena Lake Core Values in all aspects of the ELLFC program delivery.
- Assist the head chef in daily food preparation and cooking.

- Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing as needed.
- Ensure all food items are properly stored and labeled.
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation.

Qualifications and Skills for this position include:
