We are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Administrator (Windows) for our client. This is a permanent position, remote in Ontario! Our client is a large fintech firm with a product that you've likely used many times before.
You'll have the opportunity to work on an extremely large, internationally used payment platform. Your role will encompass managing, building, planning administrating and maintaining infrastructure services like Systems, Containers, Servers, Data Centers and Storage to ensure our client has a robust, scalable and stable infrastructure.
You Have:
- 7+ years experience working as a Systems Administrator, with extensive experience working with Windows Servers
- Extensive experience building/automating/administration/monitoring Windows Servers
- 3+ years of experience working with:
Windows clustering, SCCM and Active Directory
Managing servers on a Cloud Platform (Azure ) - Experience with scripting, automation, and orchestration technologies and languages like batch, PowerShell, VBScript, Perl, Python and SCCM
- A B.Sc. or equivalent work experience required.

About the Role:
We're looking for a hands-on IT professional to help build and support the foundation of Clutch's technology infrastructure. You'll be the go-to person for all things IT — from network setup and hardware support to process improvement and employee enablement.

What you'll do:
IT & System Administration

Scope:
The Systems and Network Administrator manages the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of the organization’s IT infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud. This role also handles desktop support, vendor management, and service or maintenance contracts, reporting to the Team Lead, Infrastructure & Security.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Adopt a security-first mindset by embedding cybersecurity best practices and proactive risk management in all IT operations
- Administer, monitor, and secure hybrid on-premises and cloud environments, including Windows Server, Azure, Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy, Intune, and identity sync
- Manage Microsoft 365 platforms — Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Power Platform — ensuring secure collaboration, data protection, and compliance
- Harden and improve network and cloud security through continuous threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response across firewalls, VPNs, and collaboration tools
- Design and maintain reliable network infrastructure (LAN, WLAN, WAN) to deliver high availability, scalability, and performance
- Implement and manage security controls such as firewalls, VPNs, Conditional Access, MFA, DLP, and compliance policies
- Perform upgrades, apply patches, and maintain lifecycle management for servers, endpoints, and key applications
- Administer virtualized environments using VMware vSphere and Nutanix AHV/Prism for provisioning, tuning, and high availability
- Monitor systems and networks, analyze performance trends, and plan proactively for capacity and optimization
- Maintain and test backup, replication, and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity
- Partners with cross-functional teams to deliver IT projects, system migrations, and modernization initiatives
- Manage hardware inventory, software licenses, and vendor contracts to ensure compliance and cost efficiency
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex issues involving infrastructure, systems, or networks
- Align IT security practices with industry standards such as NIST, CIS, and ISO 27001

Skills & Qualifications:
