**Position Summary**
We are looking for a Supply Chain Intern based at our Brampton location for the months of May 2026 to August 2026. This role will be responsible for both working on a dedicated Nestlé Business Excellence project(s) for the term of your internship and a day-to-day role within the team. You will gain valuable practical knowledge and experience in various functional aspects of Supply Chain depending on the project focus area, including Demand and Supply Planning, Logistics Operations, Procurement, Customer Supply Chain, and Order to Cash Operations.
**A day in the life of a Supply Chain Intern**
As a Supply Chain Intern, you will be working cross-functionally, focusing on different parts of the value chain to drive out waste and make recommendations on improved ways of working. You will also work on digitalizing the supply chain using lean methodology and close collaboration between different supply chain functional areas.
You will:
+ Work on projects that include learning new tools and platforms - Azure, Power BI, SAS, SAP, etc.
+ Communicate and influence the decision makers through effective story telling
+ Collaborate across our Supply Chain: Demand and Supply Planning, Logistics Operations, Procurement, Customer Supply Chain, and Order to Cash Operations.
+ Collaborate and gather input from stakeholders spanning beyond the supply chain organization
+ Adapt to various styles and self-learning with emphasis on creative ways to find relevant information through various sources
+ Develop a broad network at multiple levels in the organization
**What will make you successful?**
As the successful candidate, you will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be passionate, results-focused, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a highly analytical and project-focused position. Additionally, you are a fast learner and must be comfortable working within a dynamic, fast-paced, challenging environment.
You will also:
+ Be currently enrolled in a university or post-graduate program in either Industrial Engineering or with a major/concentration in Supply Chain.
+ Be able to work with large data sets and select criteria for scenario building options.
+ Having previous supply chain experience is an asset, but not mandatory.
+ Be involved in extracurricular activities which demonstrate initiative and leadership.
+ Be results and detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
+ Have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
+ Experience in Power BI is considered an asset.
+ Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Transportation Ownership

  • Own all inbound and outbound logistics across all facilities (Canada and U.S.)
  • Manage relationships with freight carriers, brokers, and 3PLs; negotiate rates and service terms
  • Monitor on-time pickup/delivery performance, lead freight audits, and resolve issues with vendors

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the internal project lead for freight transitions, broker changes, or new route/service launches

Qualifications

+ Complete oversight in Canadian LTO planning and sourcing
+ Oversee and manage Canadian supplier partner and Distribution center relationship.
+ Ensure product compliance with local legislations
+ Maintain process for product cost audits and forward looking financial planning
+ Support the smooth functioning of all Chipotle IT business integrations with external partners
+ Enhanced cost reduction while securing contingencies and partnerships, reducing Supply Chain inventory risk
+ Overseeing Chipotle Canada's logistic strategy while aligning to enterprise
+ Complete oversight in Planning for Canada with no reliance from the US
+ BOH improvement implementation to ERS and backup systems
+ Sourcing and logistics of particular Canadian equipment
+ Oversee processes for cost effective product importation and tariff avoidance
+ Manage Chipotle Standard Food Quality and Traceability programs and their correct execution by Canadia Supplier and DC Partners
+ Manage the application of Chipotle Standard master data processes in Canada
+ Lead Procurement for all Canadian NRO activity involving sourcing local vendors for optimal pricing, construction as well as managing service agreement compliance and cost audits
+ Partnering w FS QA team on food safety while heavily involved with the vendor partnership
+ Manage Canadian Supply Chain Team with several direct reports
The ideal candidate will:
+ B.A./B.S. in related field or an equivalent in education and experience
+ Knowledge of and ability to use a PC as well as Microsoft Office Suite
+ Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
+ Demonstrated ability in negotiation and conflict resolution
+ Solid ability to deal effectively with all levels of the organization
+ Solid knowledge of food including raw material sourcing and manufacturing, Quality Assurance and HACCP Systems, and supply chain performance systems
+ Solid skills in teamwork and team building, negotiation, project management, and budgeting and forecasting
+ At least ten (10) years experience in managing distribution and logistics responsibilities for multi-unit restaurant companies. Purchasing experience preferred
+ Enjoy frequent travel
**PAY TRANSPARENCY**
Pay range is $144,000.00-$208,500.00 depending on skill level, experience and/or education. Compensation offered is also subject to local wage and hour laws.
