Bilingual Logistics Coordinator 

Overseeing and facilitating the supply chain operations of our company, you will be the one to coordinate personnel and process to achieve the effective distribution of goods. The goal is to ensure the smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency. This is a collaborative team environment, and we are all responsible for the overall customer and carrier experience and have responsibility for all duties listed below.

Primary Responsibilities of Logistics Coordinator:

  • Negotiate freight rates with carriers for domestic and cross-border TL and LTL
  • Source carriers
  • Respond to spot quotes and customer requests within expected timeline
  • Be available after hours to assist with resolving issues
  • Grow and maintain existing and new carrier or customer relationships
  • Utilize all aspects of Greenscreens: carrier bids, customer quotes, lane research
  • Ensure carriers are qualified in RMIS
  • Perform work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Collaborate with co-workers to provide solutions to customers
  • Organize the Spot email inbox to ensure all coworkers have visibility to the appropriate emails
  • Transition spot quote customers into dedicated customers
  • Improve on win % daily
  • Follow up with customers for additional lanes
  • Identify areas of weakness
  • Work closely with leaders and business development departments to develop compliant cost/price strategies and proposals
  • Create customer proposals
  • Maintain professional communication with Manager throughout the RFQ process on cost strategies and to ensure best pricing is presented in each proposal
  • Research and track competitor pricing and market trends
  • Maintain and improve existing pricing process and costs
  • Perform all relevant aspects of Greenscreens including rates and customer quotes.
  • Responsible for margin improvement through various methods
  • Identify areas of weakness and improve these areas through carrier procurement
  • communicate market insight to operating and sales groups within defined time frames
  • Upload carrier rates and customer bill rates into TM system

Chargé(e) de superviser et de faciliter les opérations de la chaîne d'approvisionnement de notre entreprise, vous serez responsable de coordonner le personnel et les processus afin d'assurer une distribution efficace des marchandises. L’objectif est de garantir le bon fonctionnement de divers canaux dans le but d’atteindre une efficacité maximale. Il s’agit d’un environnement de travail collaboratif où nous sommes tous responsables de l’expérience globale du client et du transporteur, ainsi que des tâches décrites ci-dessous.

Responsabilités principales du (de la) Coordonnateur(trice) Logistique :
  • Négocier les tarifs de transport avec les transporteurs pour les expéditions nationales et transfrontalières, en chargement complet (TL) et partiel (LTL)

  • Trouver et sélectionner des transporteurs

  • Répondre aux demandes de prix ponctuelles et aux demandes des clients dans les délais prévus

  • Être disponible après les heures de bureau pour aider à résoudre les problèmes

  • Développer et entretenir les relations avec les transporteurs et les clients, actuels et nouveaux

  • Utiliser toutes les fonctionnalités de Greenscreens : soumissions des transporteurs, devis clients, recherche de trajets

  • S’assurer que les transporteurs sont qualifiés via RMIS

  • Travailler avec un sens de l’urgence et une grande attention aux détails

  • Collaborer avec les collègues pour proposer des solutions aux clients

  • Organiser la boîte de réception des courriels "Spot" afin d’assurer la visibilité des courriels appropriés à tous les collègues

  • Convertir les clients de devis ponctuels en clients réguliers

  • Améliorer quotidiennement le taux de réussite des soumissions

  • Effectuer des suivis auprès des clients pour obtenir d’autres trajets

  • Identifier les points faibles

  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les responsables et les équipes de développement des affaires pour élaborer des stratégies de coûts/prix conformes et des propositions

  • Créer des propositions clients

  • Maintenir une communication professionnelle avec le/la gestionnaire tout au long du processus d’appel d’offres afin de garantir les meilleures stratégies de tarification dans chaque proposition

  • Effectuer des recherches et suivre les prix des concurrents ainsi que les tendances du marché

  • Maintenir et améliorer les processus de tarification et les coûts existants

  • Effectuer tous les aspects pertinents de Greenscreens, y compris les tarifs et les devis clients

  • Être responsable de l’amélioration des marges par divers moyens

  • Identifier les faiblesses et les améliorer grâce à l’approvisionnement en transporteurs

  • Communiquer les informations du marché aux équipes des opérations et des ventes dans les délais définis

  • Saisir les tarifs des transporteurs et les tarifs clients dans le système de gestion du transport (TMS)

As a Supply Chain Agent, you will report to the Supply Chain Leader. You will be part of the Interiors department, within the Strategic Supply Chain and Procurement division. In this role, you will play a key part in managing supplier relationships, developing commodity strategies, and driving commercial and contractual performance.
+ Establish and maintain global supplier relationships, acting as the primary commercial and contractual interface for new and existing business.
+ Lead development and execution of commodity strategies, including sourcing, strategic alliances, and cost reduction initiatives.
+ Develop and implement negotiation strategies; lead supplier contract negotiations and manage contractual compliance.
+ Support Business Units and Sites with sourcing strategies, contractual issue resolution, and application of remedies for material breaches.
+ Coordinate and lead supplier claims negotiations and ensure business continuity.
+ Drive and manage procurement projects including business case development, cost reduction governance, and supplier program reviews.
+ Build and maintain internal and external networks to support supply chain effectiveness.
+ Mentor and support team members, including assisting in development plans and coaching on procurement processes and initiatives.
