**ABOUT THE ROLE**
The GTA Logistics Manager (LM) is to implement logistics, sourcing, inventory management, and customer service strategies for the supply of aggregates. The LM is responsible for planning and executing process optimization and cost saving efforts pertaining to Greater Toronto Area (GTA) logistics business, and supports the development, execution, and measurement of initiatives to support the long-term Eastern Canada Aggregates Logistics strategy. The LM will leverage emerging digital trends to create new offerings for an improved customer delivery experience and develops relationships with internal stakeholders and haulers as a means to drive performance, communicate transparently, and to influence change.
**WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH**
+ Safety: Responsible for the development, execution, and communication of the Amrize Logistics Road Safety identified in the annual HSEIP. Utilize the logistics team to coordinate and train haulers on our safety procedures. Assist in the management of the Safe Trucking Program and ensure safety compliance and targets zero incidents.
+ Financial Management: Deliver continuous gross delivery margin and operating profit improvements. Prepare annual budgets for logistics operations and report on in-year actual performance against the logistics financial ambition.
+ Sourcing, Production Planning & Inventory Control: Accountable for the development, communication, implementation, and tracking of inventory and sourcing strategy. Formulate logistic and sourcing strategies, minimize inventory working capital, and maximize customer service through KPI target setting and tracking.
+ Performance Optimization and Analysis: Manage the Logistics team to establish competitive and fair freight rates for zone maps, large projects, and annual supply contracts. Coordinate the effective implementation and use of the ECAN TMS system, report on performance KPIs, and recommend optimization opportunities based on data analysis.
+ Hauler Management: Establish regular contact with major carriers building win-win relationships to provide the best transportation services at or below market rates, keeping in mind a sustainable trucking cost structure.
+ Market Management: Identify other market sources of supply into the respective territory. Continuously monitor market activity, communicate, and recommend any necessary actions. Track aggregate haul industry logistic market players, units, and demand.
+ Commercial Growth: Support the GTA Commercial & Logistics Manager by actively building strategic partnerships to support the objectives of the supply organization within the region both internally and externally.
+ Strategy and Process: Support the implementation of the GTA Logistics strategy in collaboration with the ECAN Commercial & Logistics Performance Manager, aligning expectations on the implementation of initiatives, tools, and operational efficiency targets.
+ Core Fleet Initiative: Champion the GTA Logistics core fleet initiative, model target scale and profitability ambitions, and define and track key utilization and profitability variables and metrics.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations & Logistics Manager to join our growing team at Myant. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in establishing logistics and inventory processes from scratch, managing shipping operations, overseeing external fulfillment centers, and proficiently utilizing ERP systems (preferably Plex ERP). Key Responsibilities:
- Shipping Operations: Coordinate and manage the timely and efficient shipping of Skiin units to clients (clinics) while ensuring product integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Inventory Management at Client Sites: Establish systems and procedures for accurately tracking and managing inventory held at client (clinic) locations.
- Returns and Refurbishment: Develop and oversee robust processes for managing returns, including washing, refurbishing, quality inspection, and reintroduction into inventory.
- Process Creation & Implementation: Design, implement, and continuously improve end-to-end logistics and inventory processes from the ground up, tailored to the unique needs of a scaling medtech operation.
- External Fulfillment Center Management: Develop and maintain relationships with external fulfillment centers. Manage outsourced product storage, packing, and shipping, ensuring timely and cost-effective order fulfillment. Continuously evaluate and optimize the performance of fulfillment partners.
- ERP System Implementation and Optimization: Lead the configuration, optimization, and management of the ERP system (Plex ERP or similar), ensuring effective inventory tracking, logistics management, and streamlined operational workflows.
- Cost Accounting and Financial Negotiation: Proficiently track and report all logistics-related costs, including shipping, storage, handling, and inventory management. Negotiate costs with suppliers and fulfillment partners to ensure cost-effectiveness and manage variable costs efficiently. Provide real-time updates to senior management regarding logistics expenditures and financial performance. Collaborate closely with finance teams to ensure accurate cost reporting and KPI tracking.
- Regulatory & Compliance Management: Ensure all logistics processes comply with regulatory requirements, especially in the medical device industry (e.g., ISO 13485, MDR). Maintain proper documentation, certifications, and safety protocols. Manage and uphold the compliance standards specific to medical device inventory and logistics.

Decision Making
The Senior Manager, Port Operations Eastern Passage is responsible for the daily frontline labour management and allocation of assets at the terminal as well as ensuring support and execution of daily operational plans. The incumbent oversees the frontline daily operation of the Eastern Passage facility (e.g., Rail, Ship, Convoy). This includes the tactical planning to maximize efficiency and productivity, supporting the implementation and execution of cost saving measures such as daily labour management, tactical efforts to reduce vehicle damage claims, daily communication with customers, carriers, and vessels to foster positive working relationships.
Education / Certification / Experience
Post secondary education in a related field such as Operations Management, Engineering, etc.
Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in logistics, transportation, automotive industry or industrial operations
A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Deep knowledge of safety standards and compliance including transportation safety standards, WHMIS, etc.
Previous experience with Third Party Logistics and transportation providers that specialize in the automotive industry is an asset
Demonstrated success in leading large teams and unionized environments
Operating and capital budget planning and execution experience is required
Experience with labour relations, grievance management and CBA interpretation

In this role, you will focus on developing long-term logistics solutions, both domestic and international, fostering strong carrier relationships, and supporting the growth of a reliable, efficient supply chain.
