Ground crew members are required to perform heavy physical duties on a variety of tasks which are generally semi-skilled in nature. Duties will vary depending on the type of work assigned to crew.

Key Responsibilities
- Haul branches, wood, and debris safely from the work area to the truck
- Assist climbers and equipment operators with ropes, rigging, and ground support
- Operate and maintain hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and other jobsite equipment
- Keep the jobsite clean, organized, and safe
- Help load and unload tools and gear before and after jobs
- Follow direction from the Crew Lead and communicate clearly with team members
You Should Have:
- Experience with or willingness to learn chainsaw use and basic tool maintenance
- A strong work ethic and ability to perform repetitive physical tasks
- Interest and ability to perform heavy physical labour in a team environment in all weather conditions
- Respect for safety protocols and commitment to wearing required PPE
- A valid G license with clean abstract (or plans to obtain one) is an asset but not required
- 1+ year experience in tree care, landscaping, construction, or other outdoor work is preferred
- High school diploma is an asset, but not required

Summary:
Ramp Agents are responsible for facilitating the turnaround of aircraft (arrivals and departures). Ramp Agents, under the guidance of Lead GSA’s direct aircraft into the gate, load, unload and sort all luggage and freight, de-ice the aircraft, service lavatories, fill the aircraft’s portable water supply and direct the aircraft during gate push-back.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for maintaining safety and security of the ramp at all times.
- Assist in ramp set up and storage of equipment and baggage.
- Actively participates in the Safety Management System. (SMS)
- Marshal aircraft on the ramp, includes directing, assisting and parking all arriving, departing and towed aircraft
- Responsible for courteous, prompt, accurate and careful handling of customer baggage and airfreight (if applicable), including loading and offloading aircraft, sorting and transfer of baggage to carousels.
- Service aircraft as needed i.e. aircraft lavatories, potable water fills, cabin grooming and deicing.
- Observe safe ground-handling procedures and maintenance of ground service equipment, including the performance of equipment checks.
- Comply with all safety procedures and airline policies.
- Constantly communicate with flight crew personnel and other ground personnel.
- Actively participate in SA’s Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting hazard and incidents encountered in daily operations. Understand, comply with and promote the company Safety Policy.
- Participate in training to comprehend, implement, and maintain all quality objectives as stated in our Quality Management System to ensure delivery of desired levels of operational safety and security.
- All employees are responsible for ensuring quality control in their own activities.
- Cooperate fully with Inspectors to achieve quality inspection commitment.

A.S.P. is looking for an Airport Operations Communication Centre Agent that will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless communication and coordination within Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. As the first point of contact for internal departments, airlines, and airport service providers, you will be instrumental in maintaining operational efficiency and delivering exceptional service to our passengers. What you will do:
- Monitor and operate access control, CCTV and other intrusion systems;
- Respond to routine and emergency calls for service and various alarms;

Who you are:
- Minimum High School diploma or Grade 12 education.
- Minimum of two (2) years of security related experience.
- Education in Emergency Communications, Dispatch, Aviation Operations, or Security is an asset.
- Eligible to work in Canada.
- Ability to obtain a Restricted Access Identification Card (RAIC) and maintain it as a mandatory requirement.
- General knowledge of Access Control, Alarm, Phone, Computer, and CCTV systems;
- Restricted Radio Operators Certificate – Marine;

- Knowledge of various stakeholders, tenants and service providers;

MAINTAIR AVIATION SERVICES has a long history of providing safe, customer focused aviation services, and as we continue to grow we are currently seeking candidates for PART-TIMERAMP ATTENDANT / BAGGAGE HANDLER here in Saint John!
JOB SUMMARY:
Ramp Attendants work under the direction of the Station Leadershipto ensure all aspects of aircraft handling are completed safely according to specific company policies & procedures. Safety, attention to detail, following company procedures, and team work are key components to being a successful ramp attendant. The ideal candidate must possess verbal & written communication skills, be energetic, outgoing, understanding and accepting of change. He/She must also be flexible and able to deal with the adapting nature of aviation. If you enjoy a great team, where each day presents new challenges and opportunities, this position is for you!
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sort, load, unload baggage and cargo from flights.
Service lavatories and potable water per company standards.
Connect, disconnect ground power/bridge power from Aircraft.
Marshall aircraft to and from gate, parking stands.
Wing walk arrivals and departures.
Operate belt loaders, baggage tractors and carts.
Complete aircraft grooming.
Complete aircraft towing and/or brake riding.
Complete daily inspection of operating equipment.
Complete equipment deficiency reports as required.
Snow removal, equipment cleaning, housekeeping as required.
Perform aircraft deicing as required.
Perform deice trucking filling and bulk glycol deliveries as required.
Attend all required training sessions and successfully complete training courses.
Actively participate in company safety programs.
Work as a team member in a safe, efficient, professional manner.
Adhere to published uniform standards and requirements.
Follow all safety guidelines and safe workplace procedures.
Take direction from ramp shift leads/supervisors and BTW Manager.
Complete customer baggage and/or cargo deliveries as required.
Other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to apply and secure an Airport Restricted Area Pass (RAIC).
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Must have valid drivers license with clean abstract & obtain a clean criminal records check prior to offer.
Ability to speak, write and understand the English language.
Previous airline and/or freight handling experience would be an asset.
Must have excellent team player competencies.
Must be willing to adapt to the changing nature of aviation.
Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
$25.00 per year Protective Footwear Allowance.
PPE required is provided to employee.
Returnable deposit on all Uniform Pieces.
Paid Training.
RAIC Security Fee Deposit Required ( 100.00)
This position is covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement
