Set-up, start-up, and operate pultrusion machines
Keep the pultrusion machines stocked with raw materials – i.e; resin
Monitor the flow of raw materials going into the product to ensure continuous production
Operate the control panels on the pultrusion machines
Inspect quality during the product run – physical measurements and visual inspections
Clean production tooling and equipment
Package, label, and document information on finished products
Requirements:
Previous Machine Operator experience
Previous experience working in a manufacturing industry
Must be able to work 12 hour shifts
Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Plating food for the hospitals, and moving it through the packaging assembly line.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
- Proper traying of meals on the assembly lines
- Portioning and labelling of meals
- Sorting and unboxing the frozen food and emptying it into the bin
- Receiving food products or shipping meals when required.
- Frequent lifting, repetitive movement, pushing and carrying of supplies and carts. (Maximum lifting 30 lb.)
- Frequent standing for long periods.
- Work will be performed in cold environment.
- Product may need to be obtained from fridge that is at 4ºC or lower or the freezer that is at -18 ºC.
- Equipment utilized; food carts, serving utensils, food preparation equipment.

AFIMAC Canada is actively hiring experienced Production Operators for an upcoming contract assignment in Southwestern Ontario. This position will require you to work 12 hour shifts, 7 days per week when assigned to a project.
***Please note this is a temporary contract position, so it may not be suitable to someone currently working full time***
You will earn:
- $28 per hour before overtime ($5,824 bi-weekly pre tax)
- Paid Travel (up to 4 hours)
- On-site lodging (required)
- All meals provided
- Contract Duration: 1 - 120 days
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate production equipment
- Familiarity and ability to measure and do weight conversions
- Perform material mix manually as well as using valves, hoses, attachments pumps and filters.
- Monitor flow meters, dials and gauges
- Operate and dispense materials using production system
- Wash containers/vessels when needed
- Documentation and labelling duties.
- Ability to operate a forklift and other related material handling machinery
- Ability to multi-task and perform in a variety of manufacturing facets
- Ensure safe operation of machinery ensuring it is in good working condition and works in accordance to company regulations.
- General plant and equipment cleaning.
- Assist in troubleshooting positional issues related to reliability
- Perform other related duties consistent with the nature of the job
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
- Valid Forklift license
- Minimum 1 year experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Basic Mechanical understanding
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions
- Attention to detail & strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, technical and communication skills
- Fluent command of the English language (both written and verbal)
- Availability for 12-hour shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Dayshift Availability (7 a.m.- 7 p.m.) or Nightshift Availability (7 p.m.- 7 a.m.)
