Job Description
Social Media Manager (Editorial) – Sports & Gaming
THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Social Media Manager (Editorial) to join our Toronto office–someone who knows the pulse of sports, sports betting, and gaming culture, and wants to help some of the biggest brands in the industry show up in feeds where the action happens.
If you’re the person who calls the upset before it happens, keeps the group chat buzzing with the funniest parlays memes, and has a knack for turning last night’s highlights into today’s trending content, you’re our kind of person.
In this role, you’ll live in the feeds daily: spotting trends before they blow up, jumping into real-time sports moments, and suggesting clever, culturally sharp content and community engagements that keeps fans engaged. One day you might pitch a rapid-fire TikTok tied to a major game; the next, you’re adding to the conversation in the comment section in a brand’s voice, or recommending a bold new way to talk about jackpots and wins.
You’ll be part of a fast-moving editorial team–a crew of strategists, writers, social media managers, and creators who move at the speed of culture, with a special focus on the thrill of the game.
If you’ve got a love for sports, gaming, social media culture, and the confidence to create content people actually want to talk about–this is your shot.
WE ARE
A creative agency powered by social connections. That means we thrive on what’s trending and creating campaigns that get people buzzing. We call it “Ideas Worth Talking About,” and we're proud to have played a part in some of the most culturally relevant campaigns of the decade for brands like McDonald’s, Adidas, Universal Studios, and YouTube.
WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT HERE
- We like to laugh, we live for celeb gossip and we’re great on AUX.
- Our passport program lets you explore and work from one of our 18 other offices worldwide, including Paris, Singapore, Madrid, Dubai, London and more!
- You best believe we know how to celebrate our wins. And our losses (it’s how we learn).
- From carbon offsets to community kitchens, we’re passionate about making a difference.
YOU ARE
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, sports-driven environment, always ready to pivot when the game changes.
- More than a trend-follower—you want to create moments fans talk about.
A self-starter who can take ideas from kickoff to final whistle, navigating feedback with ease. - Deeply familiar with the sports, betting, and gaming landscape, and how it plays out online.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Create daily content that resonates with sports fans and players—memes, highlights, short-form video, and reactive posts.
- Surface real-time betting and lottery moments worth jumping on—whether that’s a big win, a shocking upset, or a cultural tie-in.
- Write sharp, witty community engagements that reflect each brand’s unique tone of voice.
- Moderate and manage community conversations, keeping fans entertained and engaged.
Experiment with creative formats that push sports betting and gaming content into new territory. - Grow your own editorial style while collaborating with a team that’s as passionate about sports as you are.
- Maintain a current understanding of social platform updates, proactively identifying and proposing innovative applications of new tools for audience engagement.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2–3 years’ experience in social media with a focus on content creation and community management, ideally within sports, gaming, or entertainment.
- Strong understanding of sports and fan communities, including betting culture. You're a true sports fan who can speak the language of different communities. In-platform editing skills–you can cut a highlight or trend-driven Tik tok, Reels or YT shorts video that stops the scroll.
- A strong nose for trends and real-time sports moments, with the confidence to pitch content ideas around them.
- Experience engaging with online communities (proactive and reactive comment engagement, DMs, fan replies).
- Comfort jumping between roles as needed—content creator, community manager, and writer.
Bonus points if you:
- Have direct experience creating content for sports betting or sports brands.
- Run your own social
