Millwright - Night Shift
**Objective**
The Millwright position at the Woodstock quarry site will work together with other millwrights, electricians, welders and production workers to accomplish assigned work tasks. Including, but not limited to; participating in plant safety including performing risk assessments before each job, complete scheduled work on-time, provide feedback to the plant supervisor for work improvements.
Starting pay at competitive wages with benefit, pension plan and pay increase after 3 months. This position requires night shift, overtime and occasional weekends when required.
**Responsibilities**
1. Safety: Promote safety culture through engagement with employees, JHSC, subcontractors and suppliers, implementation and maintenance of local and regional initiatives with an objective of "zero" safety incidents. Promotes safety policies, processes and review procedures to ensure that site meets or exceeds all Amrize and Regulatory guidelines. Ensure that the plant and surrounding site is kept safe, presentable, and functional. Understanding Near Miss and HI process, MVA's, FA's, MI's, LTI's, Daily Safety Huddles, Risk Assessments, Confined Space and WAH permits
2. Technical Skills: Required to read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
3. Operations: Millwrights install, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces and generators according to layout plans using hand and power tools. Responsible for installing, troubleshooting and maintaining power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls. Will be responsible to assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment.
4. Operator Functions: Millwrights operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, lacks and tractors to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery. Also operate machine tools such as arils and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery.
5. Troubleshooting: Millwrights inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
6. Maintenance: - Millwrights adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts. Also are responsible to clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery.
7. Other: Perform other duties as assigned to assist in the efficient operation of the plant and site
**Safety Profile:**
Comply with OHSA and all of its applicable regulations. Wear all Personal Protective equipment as required. Strict compliance with Amrize Canada safety rules, policies and procedures. Report all incidents, near misses and safety hazards to the Supervisor. Follow Lockout/Tag out/Try out procedures. Emergency response plan awareness.

Night Shift - 11 pm to 7 am - Monday to Friday
The Refrigeration Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient operation, maintenance and upkeep of the company's refrigeration equipment, in a manner that minimizes interruptions in warehouse operations, ensures employee safety and always maintains customer product at required temperatures.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**    
+ Leads and promotes a culture where Health and Safety is the #1 priority. Provides leadership and support for Health & Safety initiatives within the department.  
+ Carries out daily checks on refrigeration equipment and makes necessary repairs or adjustments.  
+ Tours the warehouse on a regular basis to ensure the building is safe and supports the warehouse activities.  
+ Follows preventative maintenance programs to minimize disruptions in warehouse operations.  
+ Monitors and adjusts equipment to lower utility costs.  
+ Take alarm calls from the refrigeration system, outside of business hours and on weekends, to ensure that temperatures are maintained properly. (on call 1 week, out of 3).  
+ Enforces established safety, health, contamination and housekeeping policies and procedures in order to minimize staff injuries, lost production time, damage, and contamination of product.  
+ Operates within and promotes compliance with the Code of Business Conduct, company policies and procedures, and all statues and legislation governing the workplace.   
**KEY REQUIREMENTS**    
+ Minimum of **one (1)** year of experience in a related role.  
+ Experience with **ammonia** refrigeration systems is essential for this position.  
+ **Mus** **t hold a valid** B class or higher Refrigeration Operator Certificate (MMF Class B) preferably holds a class A Refrigeration Operator Certificate.  
+ Commitment to health and safety in the workplace.  
+ Driven to provide exceptional customer service.  
+ Embraces change and has a continuous improvement philosophy.  
+ In depth knowledge of provincial regulations regarding operating engineering and refrigeration, elevating devices, building and fire code, local bylaws, environmental, labour, and health and safety legislation.

**Shift:** Sunday to Thursday (11pm to 7am)
The Refrigeration Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient operation, maintenance and upkeep of the company's refrigeration equipment, in a manner that minimizes interruptions in warehouse operations, ensures employee safety and always maintains customer product at required temperatures.  
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**    
+ Leads and promotes a culture where Health and Safety is the #1 priority. Provides leadership and support for Health & Safety initiatives within the department.  
+ Carries out daily checks on refrigeration equipment and makes necessary repairs or adjustments.  
+ Tours the warehouse on a regular basis to ensure the building is safe and supports the warehouse activities.  
+ Follows preventative maintenance programs to minimize disruptions in warehouse operations.  
+ Monitors and adjusts equipment to lower utility costs.  
+ Take alarm calls from the refrigeration system, outside of business hours and on weekends, to ensure that temperatures are maintained properly. (on call 1 week, out of 3).  
+ Enforces established safety, health, contamination and housekeeping policies and procedures in order to minimize staff injuries, lost production time, damage, and contamination of product.  
+ Operates within and promotes compliance with the Code of Business Conduct, company policies and procedures, and all statues and legislation governing the workplace.   
**KEY REQUIREMENTS**    
+ Minimum of **one (1)** year of experience in a related role.  
+ Experience with **ammonia** refrigeration systems is essential for this position.  
+ **Mus** **t hold a valid** B class or higher Refrigeration Operator Certificate (MMF Class B) preferably holds a class A Refrigeration Operator Certificate.  
+ Commitment to health and safety in the workplace.  
+ Driven to provide exceptional customer service.  
+ Embraces change and has a continuous improvement philosophy.  
+ In depth knowledge of provincial regulations regarding operating engineering and refrigeration, elevating devices, building and fire code, local bylaws, environmental, labour, and health and safety legislation.  
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.  
+ Proven analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to quickly understand and identify issues and implement solutions.  
+ Demonstrates a positive and professional attitude with a hands-on and team -oriented work style.  
+ Ability to work in temperatures of -30 degrees Celsius.

**Summary**
Under the responsibility of the Manager, the Supervisor Logistics is responsible to supervise, coordinate and oversee the logistics operations and provide coaching, development and training to the staff members. The successful candidate must be able to provide recommendations for improvements to the facility, equipment, machinery, and processes.
