Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree
- A member in good standing or eligible for membership with British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Food Safe Certificate
- Experience as a nurse in a long-term care environment, preferably.

About You
You are a dedicated RN, a self-starter whose strong work ethic thrives with minimal supervision, consistently achieving both individual and team excellence. Your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills form the foundation of fostering positive relationships, both with residents and fellow team members. Proficient in problem-solving, time management, and meticulous organization of workloads, you ensure the highest quality of care for residents. With an in-depth understanding of aging processes, cognitive function changes, and age-related diseases, you provide empathetic care that transcends the clinical realm. Your expertise extends to medication administration, standard precautions, and adherence to healthcare protocols, prioritizing safety, and unwavering quality in every action. You possess a unique skill set that includes assessing functional and cognitive status, managing equipment, and adeptly utilizing office technology. You are also well-versed in pharmacological therapies, the Wellness Model, legal documentation, and the complex intricacies of the healthcare system at various levels. You are competent, compassionate, and have an unwavering commitment to the well-being of those you serve.
Compensation & Benefits
Level 3 RNs are compensated at an hourly rate ranging from $41.42 to $55.91 as outlined in the Provincial BC Nurses Collective Agreement.

Job Description – Registered Nurse (RN)
Title: Registered Nurse (Acute/Medical/Surgical)
Location: Hospitals across the Okanagan, Coastal, and Northern British Columbia (including Bella Coola, Sechelt, Clearwater, Williams Lake, Kelowna, Penticton, Kamloops, Fort Nelson, Burns Lake, Dawson Creek, Fort St James, Prince Rupert, and Prince George)
Contract Length: 2 weeks – 4 months
Shifts: 12-hour shifts, mix of days and nights
Compensation:
- T4: $48 – $2 per hour
- Incorporated: 58 – $6 per hour
Travel & Housing: Accommodations and transportation provided
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team in Acute/Medical/Surgical units across multiple hospital sites in British Columbia. This role is ideal for RNs who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy variety in their practice, and are open to short-term travel contracts with competitive pay and full support.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care in acute/medical/surgical settings, ensuring high standards of safety and quality.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient progress, interventions, and outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education to support recovery and wellness.
- Respond to emergencies and acute changes in patient condition.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Current registration and good standing with BCCNM (British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives) as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care/med-surg nursing experience in Canada (preferred 2+ years).
- Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work a rotation of day and night shifts.
- Willingness to travel and work short-term assignments in rural and northern communities.
