Key Responsibilities:Direct Patient Care:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Certification and recent experience with IV initiation.
- Experience with care of an intubated patient.
- Experience with ECG analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of regional anesthesia, neuroaxial anesthesia, multimodal analgesia and chronic pain.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to maintain a physically demanding job.
- Must be able to work staggered shifts, possibly extended shifts.
- Excellent assessment, organization, communication and team interaction skills.
- Current immunization for hepatitis B, influenza, measles, mumps, rubella, tetanus, and diphtheria.
- Current tuberculin skin testing (within 6 months before date of hire).
Physical Requirements:
- The work environment is physically demanding and may require different levels of physical exertion, such as lifting and transferring patients.
- At times, RNs may work in challenging and stressful circumstances, such as in an emergency situation.
- During the course of their work RNs may be exposed to blood, body fluids, infectious diseases, chemicals and other safety hazards.
