Manager, Product Management
The NAM Solution Engineering team is responsible for providing technical solutions to various products with the NAM Consumer Products group including, but not limited, Digital, Core Credit, Debit, Prepaid and Account Level Management (ALM) platforms. This role will be focused on managing the technical and platform aspects of the ALM product for North America including product education, go-to-market, new product development & launch, and product operations.
Role:
- Develop technical implementation materials for Issuers and Processors to drive platform adoption based on Go-to-market strategy and value story for the customer.
- Develop educational materials & forums to drive awareness of the ALM platform & associated services for sales enablement.
- Partner with global ALM team to facilitate launch of new services on the platform in the region. Develop onboarding and usage manuals for the client.
- Partner with global ALM team to drive ALM services operations and audit in North America.
- Partner with the regional account and Delivery teams for deal implementation in the ALM platform.

- Develop a strategic roadmap leveraging market and customer research for Subscription Management with a focus on Merchants

- Oversee product evolution, establish go-to-market strategy, pricing & optimize products and resources for Subscription Management

Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Product Management leader to run our public and private certificate business. This leader must be capable of leading and partnering with cross-functional teams including Product Marketing, Sales, UX Design, Engineering, and Operations. This leader must have experience in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and the role of Certificate Authorities (CAs) . The Director, Product Management role is a highly visible role that works with senior leaders across the business to deliver impactful business results. We’re looking for people who love solving hard problems and creating truly innovated solutions.

This is a full-time position, working in a hybrid model, and reporting to our Ottawa office at least 3-4 days a week.

Here are the core functions, responsibilities, and expectations for this role: 

  • Achieves revenue and market share targets defined in financial plans for the product line.  
  • Build the product vision, strategy, and roadmap that aligns with the overall company strategy.   
  • Manage a team of world-class product managers, providing guidance and direction to deliver the product vision and strategy. 
  • Stays current with industry and market trends and the competitive landscape.  
  • Serve as the product subject matter expert. Responsibilities include representing the solution in the marketplace, support of internal sales messaging/training and engaging in customer conversations as needed.  
  • Analyze the market and engage with customers to identify opportunities to evolve the product offering and innovate in support of business growth and retention goals.  
  • Define product pricing and positioning to maximize sales and revenue opportunities. 
  • Define solution value propositions and collaborate with product marketing to deploy into the market with consideration of white papers, brochures, social media, web pages, online events and more.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is strongly recommended.  Advanced degree (e.g. MBA) is preferred. 

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in Public Key Infrastructure and Certificate Authority solutions is required. 
  • 7+ years of experience in a management role is strongly preferred. 
  • 5+ years of experience in product management of encryption and SaaS solutions is strongly preferred.
