What You Will Need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in software production support, preferably in Ad-tech, Martech, or other high-frequency transaction environments .
- Direct experience with programmatic advertising platforms , real-time bidding systems, or omnichannel marketing engines.
- Strong background in data modeling, temporal data processing , and both relational and non-relational databases (e.g., Druide, Mysql, QuestDB, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, MongoDB).
- Experience with real-time high-frequency, low-latency bidding systems .
- Working knowledge of the DSP/SSP workflows, knowledge of IAB specifications .
- Familiarity with IAB categories, and ad formats (e.g., VAST, VPAID, VMAP for video, Native, DOOH)
- Understanding of trackers and pixels for tracking various metrics and key events.
- Knowledge of bot detection, invalid traffic (IVT) mitigation, and viewability tracking standards (e.g., MOAT, IAS)
- Understanding of cookie syncing techniques between DSPs, SSPs, and DMPs
- Proficiency in diagnostic scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, Python, JavaScript, Java).
- Experience with production management tools (e.g., ERP, MES).
- Familiarity with networking protocols , distributed systems, and operating systems.
- Excellent documentation and verbal/written communication skills.

Job Description
The Lead Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for leading the support, development, and implementation of Site Reliability Engineering solutions for PeopleSoft & all applications across a large banking/financial services client. This team will work collaboratively with teams across several lines of business and other Technology and Operations partners as a requirement to succeed in its mandate. This individual will need advanced knowledge and experience working in an application development, support and/or technology operations organization. They should be able to take on a production support role and part with the SRE team in Consumer Banking, Commercial Banking and/or Wealth Management.
Perform application production support role including off-hours support.
Development of SRE solutions (monitoring and alerting, machine learning anomaly detection, self-healing and reliability testing)
Run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health.
Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications. Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our suite of software solutions.
Assist in incident management and problem management for applications in scope.
Maintain technology currency (manage server patching, certificate renewal, etc.) with keen eye on automating opportunities.
Ensure availability and uptime of applications in scope, as per service level objectives.
Ensure compliance of all systems and applications in scope, including maintaining segregation of duties.
Implement monitoring and alerting, anomaly detection, self-healing and reliability testing for applications in scope.
Supports units goals to adopt automation solutions for applications in scope.
Apply design-thinking and agile mindset in working with SREs, Scrum Masters and partner team leads.

Skills and Requirements
Minimum 10+ years of related experience
Expertise in PeopleSoft
Expertise in PeopleSoft troubleshooting & monitoring capabilities
Experience with at least two of the following: C/C++, Java, Golang, Python, .NET) and SRE, DevOps, Cloud, Data
Advanced knowledge of industry practice (Financial Institution) with a focus on SRE monitoring capabilities
Advanced experience in a variety of environments: Windows, Databases, Cloud - Azure, distributed and mainframe, business workflows, and Services/APIs
Dynatrace, Elk or similar tools for monitoring and engineering capabilities.
Excellent communication skills, direct style.
