Position: Production Supervisor Scope & Objectives As Production Supervisor, you will work with the Grower to plan, organize and carry out the annual production plan and Supervise any staff allocated to the potting process. The main duties associated with this position may include, but not be limited to; * Selecting staff for various tasks associated with the potting process. * Allocating of equipment needed. * Monitoring the health of all liners from the time of arrival to the time that newly potted plants have been returned to their growing locations. * Work with the Grower to determine the source of BTN inventory to be upshifted. * Carry out all post potting counts and finalize potting reports on a daily basis. * Assess daily needs and make sure supplies such as soil and pots are always available. Specific responsibilities of the position * Set schedules for staff associated with potting such that they know what their individual responsibilities are for each day. * Monitor the activities around the potting machine as well as the crew designated to offload newly planted material in the field to ensure the whole operation is running smoothly and efficiently and that no part of it is falling behind. * Troubleshoot any problems related to the potting machine operation and consult the Maintenance Technician when a solution can’t be found immediately. * Ensure that all staff are working safely and that the potting area is always organized and free or clutter and hazards. * Follow the established potting plan and work with the Production Coordinator when changes need to be made to the plan. * Ensure the potting machine and potting area are cleaned at the end of each shift. * Following each day of potting, perform laydown counts and inspect for damages due to transport. Complete and submit a potting report at the end of each day. * Supervise all staff designated to the propagation cycle in the winter season and assign tasks as needed.     Ideal Qualifications * Must have an understanding of plant growth and needs * Detail oriented and organized * Good at record keeping * Strong leadership skills * Some experience with transplanting methods is preferred. * Possess a mechanical aptitude. About the Role

The Production Worker - Decoral Finishing role is responsible for safely and efficiently producing decorated aluminum extrusion products that meet our internal quality standards. This role involves loading, unloading and packaging extruded materials onto a machine and smoothing out the film on the material. Working closely with your teammates to ensure that finished material is properly packaged, ticketed, and documented to support smooth operations and meet work order requirements.

What You Will Do
  • Machine Operation: Safely operate the Decoral machine, packaging line, and AGV robot. Package extrusions to pre-determined bundle sizes efficient storage or shipment.
  • Product Inspection: Inspect extruded products for any visible defects or damage after packaging. Verify that items meet quality standards and dimensional specifications.
  • Packaging and Labeling: Wrap, label, and package decorated products according to work order specifications. Ensure that packaging materials are used effectively to prevent damage during storage or shipping.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete packaging documentation, including labeling, tracking information, and production logs. Ensure that items are properly labeled with relevant information such as product type, dimensions, weight, and order details.
  • Quality Control: Maintain packaging quality by following standard operating procedures and ensuring products are handled with care. Report any quality issues or discrepancies to the supervisor.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and adhere to safe lifting and handling practices. Conduct routine checks on equipment and report any hazards.

**The Headlines:**
In the role of Quality Control Analyst - Temp working in Chilliwack, British Columbia, you will be responsible for performing analytical, sensory, and microbiological testing of ingredients and products. Duties and Responsibilities:

The production worker is responsible for the production of laminate counter tops at various stages in the manufacturing process. The production worker's duties may vary from operating machinery, assembling materials or equipment, carrying out inspections and quality control for the final product while always maintaining a clean and orderly workstation and observing and adhering to all safety procedures while being an active member of the production team

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and understand measurements
  • Basic mathematical skills and good understanding of fractions
  • Demonstrated knowledge of hand woodworking tools and the operation of power tools such as table saw, chop saw etc. considered an asset

  • Wash the top and conduct a final quality control inspection

Line Coving

  • Read the order information on the tape and adjust the slitter saw accordingly
  • Feed the top through the slitter
  • Program the coving machine with required order information to shape the backsplash
  • Feed through coving machine
  • Conduct quality control check to verify proper formation
  • Send individual orders down rollers and stack branch orders on the low wagon

Core Marking

  • Remove core from pallet and feed into the rip saw
  • Program core builder, to run required core profile
  • Monitor set min and max levels, to determine cores required
  • Pile shaped cores safely onto low wagon

Assembler

  • Glue and clamp mitres together
  • Apply shims if required
  • Conduct quality control check to ensure no scratches or marks
  • Once dry, load them onto low wagon
  • Send to shipping
  • Assemble butt joints and return to cutting
  • Assemble special core and return to cores

Line Postformer

  • Perform initial quality control check and verify correct spray coverage
  • Apply laminate and feed through the pinch roller and verify even application
  • Set postform width and feed the counter top through the postformer

Special Core Maker

  • Remove core from pallet and set up table saw to desired width
  • Cut core to desired width
  • Compute sizes of cores using order sheets
  • Pile shaped cores safely onto low wagon

Line Sprayer

  • Read the order information on laminate tape
  • Select the correct core and clean the surface area of any dust or particles
  • Adjust sprayer width to avoid any waste
  • Feed the core through the sprayer
  • Perform quality control check and verify correct spray coverage

Lay out

  • Read the order sheet and select the correct size of laminate required to fit width and colour specifications
  • Locate and pull laminate from the inventory bin and return it to the workstation
  • Mark the laminate with required measurements, cuts and design information
  • Assign the laminate to the correct postform line (1- 180 profile, 2 – sq., slant and special core)
