DarkVision, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is seeking a Data Analysis Team Lead to join our fast growing In-line (pipeline) Inspection team in North Vancouver, BC . DarkVision leverages cutting-edge proprietary acoustic imaging technology to deliver industry leading asset inspection services, capable of detecting defects as small as a few millimeters. As an ILI (In-Line Inspection) Data Team Lead, you will manage a team of Data Analysts to produce accurate inspection reports critical to the safe operation of oil and gas pipelines.
The ideal candidate has experience leading technical teams to deliver mission-critical results in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You bring a passion for operational excellence, process optimization, and challenging the status quo. Our Team
Our Data Analysts utilize 3D data visualization software and human-in-the-loop machine learning processes to meticulously analyze ultrasound datasets. The outputs of these analyses result in critical insights that enable our clients to make data-informed decisions on the operations and maintenance of multi-million-dollar infrastructure assets.
What You Will Do
- Learn the delivery standards and workflow processes for your assigned ILI product line
- Regularly check in with team members to assess capacity and remove roadblocks or inefficiencies
- Through frequent 1:1 meetings, track team members' progression in their role, deliver constructive feedback, and ensure they receive proper recognition for their work while building a roadmap for their career development
- Facilitate communication between your team and other teams and upper management
- Ensure employees are aligned with the company vision, and that the goals and direction of the team help drive achievement of the vision
- Facilitate the improvement of workflow procedures and best practices; seek out new solutions, seek feedback, and investigate and implement improvement opportunities
- Review projects assigned to Analysts on your team; you are responsible for the content and delivery of projects
- Partner with Recruiting and other Team Leads to recruit and evaluate candidates; a high volume of growth and hiring is expected
- Make informed recommendations for hiring, raises/promotions, performance management, and further training
- Develop new and improve existing processes and standards
- Set project deadlines, assign project leads, and manage follow-up requests
- Forecast team capacity vs. projected projects, offering transparency to stakeholders
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- At least 2 years of engineering or science study at university, college, or technical school
- Experience managing a team producing client deliverables (e.g. reports, analysis)
- Experience managing early to mid-career individuals
- Experience leading process improvement initiatives
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience in the Oil & Gas industry (e.g. ILI, pipeline or piping integrity, NDE/NDT, well integrity, well logging) or industrial asset inspection services
- Experience managing teams with at least 5 team members
- Experience in rapidly scaling an operation or team
- Able to disseminate complex information and generate pragmatic solutions
- Able to assess and adjust work processes to meet scaling requirements; delegate and prioritize work effectively among the team
For this role, we anticipate paying $85,000 - $110,000 CAD per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.

**Title and Summary**
Senior Project Manager - Payments - Advisors, Program Management
Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution. Our Advisors & Consulting Services team combines traditional management consulting with Mastercard's rich data assets, proprietary platforms, and technologies to provide clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. Our teams work with a diverse global customer base across industries, from banking and payments to retail and restaurants.
The Advisors & Consulting Services group has five specializations: Strategy & Transformation, Performance Analytics, Business Experimentation, Marketing, and Program Management. Our Program Management consultants lead clients through business transformations by implementing strategically important Mastercard assets and services to bring value and drive growth. They serve as the Center of Engagement across all stakeholders within Mastercard and the client's organization.

You will manage a portfolio of projects that support a strategy, a strategic change, or initiative with significant impact on the organization. You will manage complexity and inherent risks across a wide range of business areas, where there are strong interdependencies and shared resources, and you will manage benefits from their initial identification and definition through to the eventual realization and achievement of measurable improvements.
Client Impact
-Lead client engagements and workstreams for large enterprise-level programs across a range of industries, problem statements, and cultures
-Promote proven, accredited project and change management methodologies and techniques to help clients drive measurable value from initiation to benefit realization
-Mitigate risks, solve issues, and ensure plan remains in line with agreed timescales, budgets, and quality criteria
-Identify new business opportunities and communicate to executives to pursue, leading sales calls and client development including proposal contribution
-Own key relationships with mid-level to senior client stakeholders and independently assess client agenda, internal culture, and change readiness
Team Collaboration & Culture
-Lead team to creative insights and sound business recommendations, and deliver impactful and influential client presentations while growing team members' roles and skills
-Provide expertise and day-to-day project delivery team leadership, supporting evolution of solutions with innovation and create a collaborative and inclusive environment for all levels
-Manage relationship with internal Mastercard leadership and stakeholders and build the firm's intellectual capital
-Effectively leverage subject matter experts to develop best customized solutions
-Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and mentorship to junior team members, including evaluating performance, and providing feedback
Qualifications
Basic qualifications
-Undergraduate degree with work experience in project management and change management methodologies and techniques
-6+ years of Project Management experience
-Experience in Payments industry
-Experience coaching and managing teams across multiple projects and/or engagements with third parties
-Experience managing key client relationships
-Knowledge of business KPIs, financials, and organizational leadership
-Ability to provide perspective on industry and marketplace
-Logical, structured thinking
-Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
-Ability to manage multiple tasks and clients in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
-Ability to communicate effectively in English
-Eligibility to work in the country where you are applying, as well as apply for travel visas as required by travel needs
Preferred qualifications
-Experience leading development and implementation of solutions and measuring impact on clients' business
-Have completed or interested in pursuing recognized professional accreditation, such as Project Management Professional (PMP)
-Knowledge of Project Management tools
-Exposure to payments and/or retail banking or merchants
-Experience generating new knowledge or creating innovative solutions for a firm
-MBA or master's degree with relevant specialization (not required)
Salary Range : $122,000 - $195,000

The role will be part of the MPE&T Team working on multiple projects / workstreams, assessing and delivering business process and supporting changes affecting multiple stakeholder groups, in response to new mandatory regulatory rulemaking, important supervisory requirements, and Markets discretionary change initiatives. The candidate must be an individual experienced in project management and with deep Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB) CVA /Markets/FO knowledge covering products and business lines to be able to drive delivery of complex CVA workstreams.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Drive structured delivery of netted CVA and US FRTB CVA implementations
+ Set strategic direction for program delivery objectives
+ Display intellectual leadership and project management acumen in leading workstreams that will implement a component of initiatives
+ Successfully guide and support key stakeholders, projects and activities as part of the overall book of work
+ Lead the project management and delivery of key changes in a cross-asset capacity and across a number of sales / trading desks and functions including Risk, Technology, and Finance
+ Identify, prioritize, escalate and proactively manage risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies
+ Develop, mobilize and track stakeholder ownership and delivery of workstream plans
+ Communicate effectively with key stakeholders across the seniority spectrum, up to and including Desk Heads and Steering Committee executives
+ Develop and deliver workstream updates to MPE&T leadership and senior management covering project status and plans
+ Provide subject matter expertise on governance and program management to a wide array of internal stakeholders
+ Direct, manage and develop team members and contractor resources (including as the FRTB side lead for Mississauga)
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Master's degre
+ Minimum of 12 years of demonstrable experience of running high impact projects, programs as a consultant or internal change group
+ Hands-on experience in designing and implementing structured business/operational processes and associated documentation
+ Exposure to advanced project management techniques, preferably in a front office trading environment
+ Exposure to analyzing legislative and regulatory texts, and associated legal analysis
+ Understanding of global markets trading products (Fixed Income, Equity, Currencies & Commodities)
+ Understanding of Front Office trading processes across the full trade lifecycle within a large bank/dealer
+ Preferable understanding of market risk and/or capital, and experience with complex data-heavy programs
**Skills and Competencies**
+ Strong project management / business analysis skills; ability to gain consensus among staff and drive initiatives to completion effectively
+ Subject matter expertise in Credit Valuation Adjustments (CVA), with Market Risk or Trading
+ Experience with the Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB), ideally SA-CVA
+ Strong interpersonal, influencing and organizational skills to mobilize and motivate delivery in a co-operative and dynamic working environment
+ Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills, to effectively produce procedural documentation. Ability to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical colleagues
