Our client, a large UK engineering firm, is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer based in Warrington, to deliver high-quality Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) designs for infrastructure projects across sectors. You will be involved with one of their major partners in the water utility industry. You’ll ensure compliance with BS7671 IEE Wiring Regulations, manage designs from concept to completion, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical solutions into complex projects.
What You Will Need
- HNC or Degree in a technical engineering discipline.
- Proven experience delivering electrical installation designs in the water utility sector.
- In-depth knowledge of BS7671 (18th Edition) and familiarity with CDM Regulations 2015 as a ‘Designer’.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD LT, Relux/Dialux, Trimble (Amtech) Pro Design Suite, and Microsoft Office; experience with Aveva, Navisworks, and Revit desirable.
- Expertise in hazardous area design (intrinsically safe calculations), instrumentation loop diagrams, cable calculations, and network diagrams.

The Role
Working with the Project Manager in the Engineering Department, this position is primarily responsible for preparing heat tracing isometrics, panel board schedules, cable schedules, instrument schedules, writing diagrams, BMOs, and location plans, using AutoCAD.
NOTE: This is a contract position for a period of 1 year and has a potential for an extension. Independent Contractors are encouraged to apply.

- Responsible to design heat tracing systems in accordance with customer specifications to successfully ensure customer satisfaction and profitability.

- Responsible for following project requirements, along with expectations on quality, schedule or other restrictions of technical nature.
- Responsible for following established process and procedure including Project Design guide, Project Execution Guide, Quality Plan and provide input where deficiencies occur.
- Responsible for maintaining the Project Design folder structure.
- Provides input in the development of Global and Regional tools and procedures as required.
Knowledge & Qualifications
- University degree in Engineering is preferred.
- 2 Years minimum experience is required in doing EHT designs

- Technically proficient/accomplished in heat tracing design, as well as has an appropriate technical knowledge of Piping & Insulation Systems, and P&Ds, governing Codes

The Role
Project Manager is accountable for the P&L of the project(s). He also responsible for thoroughly understanding the contractual obligations and managing the project accordingly by working with all of the stakeholders of the project.

**Job Description**
The **Project Coordinator** is responsible to organize, administer and control project activities, under the direction and supervision of a Project Manager. The Project Coordinator will support and collaborate with the Project Manager and Superintendent in overseeing and managing their assigned projects.
- Responsible for coordination of project documentation, which includes, but not limited to: meeting minutes, Change Orders/Site Instructions, Owner's Instructions, Shop Drawings and Drawing Log, draft Progress Claims, field notices and sustainability requirements including LEED, Waste Management, Erosion and Sediment Control and Materials Testing.
- Set up and maintain project reporting procedures: cost reports, project status reports, document drawing control, shop drawing document control.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs (RFI, Vendor/Subcontractor, Purchase, Owner etc.), track responses and advise stakeholders.
- Assist in the management of trade contractor site meetings, RFIs, invoices and control document process.
- Manage all project administration activities including payroll, timekeeping, labour coding, equipment coding, purchase- order coding, and safety reporting.
- Review construction plans for compliance with all applicable codes, regulations and ordinances such as plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and structural.
**Qualifications**
- Technical diploma in an appropriate construction-related field (CET), or equivalent construction experience.
- Two or more years of experience as a Project Coordinator with a **general contractor**.
- Able to read blueprints, schematics, field drawings and plans
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe or Bluebeam Revu.
- A solid understanding of all construction trades, safety and construction techniques.
- Knowledge of local, provincial and federal workplace compliance regulations, ordinances and legislation.

The Construction Project Manager is responsible for successfully leading and managing all projects to completion, on time and on budget. Construction Project Managers work closely with property owners and sub-contractors after traumatic events to serve people in their time of need.
