**What you can expect on a typical day:**
**Communicate and interpret HR policies and procedures** and ensure that managers and employees are educated on same. You will act as a liaison for the division and managers with the shared services functions: HR Services, Staffing, and Programs on process flow management, communication and the roll out of new procedures, etc.
**Coach and consult with managers and employees** on issues including performance, terminations, diversity, sexual harassment, discrimination, etc. You will be involved in all aspects of the corrective action process, from counseling to reviewing Performance Improvement Plans prepared by the managers.
**Conduct employee relations investigations** , including the most complex and sensitive issues. You will provide effective employee relations though proactive programs involving knowledge of the business and individual culture of each location.
**Create customized reporting and run standard reporting** . You will perform analysis and make recommendations on systems, compensation, job descriptions, and more.
**Conduct basic training** on harassment, ethics and diversity, as needed.
**Build management capability** through self-service tools and technology.
**Assist in the coordination of acquisitions** and assist in coordinating large-scale organizational restructurings and reductions in force (RIF).

VC3 is seeking a Project Specialist to join our Project Services Team! They will provide client on-boarding, technical expertise, and support to projects across a wide scope of clients, with an extensive array of technical environments and within our cloud.

This position will allow you to work alongside some of the most talented engineers in the country and afford you the opportunity to grow with an innovative managed services provider that has a 25-year history of providing a full range of IT solutions and is continuing to expand throughout the country.

The Project Specialist will provide a high level of customer service to clients through excellent communication and detailed documentation. They will work with other Project Specialists and Project Managers to deploy equipment and tools, as well as provide technical expertise during the onboarding process. This position will be working remotely and on-site at client locations throughout VC3’s territory of 25+ states.


Here’s what we need from you:
  • High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s in a technology-related degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in any combination of information system design, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and documentation; office automation/productivity applications specification, installation, operation, and maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of current IT concepts, issues, practices, methodologies, and trends
  • Strong writing skills; must be able to develop detailed documentation for both the Projects Team and clients
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changes quickly

These are the technical skills that you will need to have:

  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange 2010 / 2013 / 2016

**I. Job Summary**
Coordinates all onsite activities at client location in relation to the storage, transportation and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes and other related services following federal, state & local regulations. Supervises and plans activities of onsite personnel. Serves as liaison between client and vendors in relation to service issues. Maintains pre-established standards for safety and environmental issues.

**II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
+ Coordinate logistics for transportation of hazardous waste, universal waste and non-hazardous waste from client site including profiling, scheduling, manifesting and physically loading bulk and drum loads.
+ Ensure compliance with client and government regulations by performing necessary inspections and reporting. Resolve all issues in a timely manner.
+ Assist with client and vendor financial obligations including invoicing, reporting and contracts.
+ Promote culture of safety by ensuring site personnel are properly trained to perform assigned duties and comply with safety, environmental, federal, state and local regulations.
**III. Supervisory Responsibilities**
The highest level of supervisory skills required in this job is the management of supervisory employees. This includes:

Under the direction of the Bank of Canada Museum Director: - Provide project support for the Museum Content Management System (CMS) project - a project to identify/develop a new exhibition digital content management system (CMS), technology to drive the way Museum visitors engage with the Museum's content, such as collection data, educational information, audiovisual assets, etc. - Support and maintain the project plan and schedule in consultation with the project team and stakeholders (using a project planning tool like MS Project, Teamwork, Smartsheet, etc.) to ensure schedules, milestones and deliverables are met - Contribute and assist with the development of project's scope of work - Assist with the development of progress reports and other project documentation - Assist with the development of consolidating comments and feedback from various stakeholders - Maintain the project's Responsibility Assignment Matrix (RACI chart) - Identify, plan, and ensure the sound management of technology integration requirements are met (i.e., with Museum's Collections database, Museum's website, etc.) - Define project risks, issues, and interdependencies while delivering the scope and work plans within quality parameters and timeframes - Collaborate with project contributors and stakeholders on all project activities - Other activities and deliverables, as required
