About the Client:
Inner Circle Agency is hiring on behalf of a fast-scaling marketing agency with headquarters in Montreal and a North American presence. The agency specializes in creative growth strategies, combining performance marketing with influencer-driven campaigns.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) analysis, tax compliance, cash flow, and forecasting. This role is key to supporting strategic decision-making and ensuring financial stability as the organization scales.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee fiscal operations, ensuring compliance with Canadian and international regulations
Manage accounting functions (accounts payable, receivable, general ledger) and prepare financial statements
Lead financial analysis and due diligence for potential M&A opportunities
Prepare and file corporate income and sales tax returns (Canada and U.S.) while ensuring international compliance
Oversee QuickBooks Online (QBO) management and maintain data accuracy
Develop and manage cash flow, profit and loss (P&L) statements, and financial forecasts
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
CPA designation in Quebec
Minimum 5 years of senior-level financial management experience
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and financial reporting tools
Strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. tax laws and international tax compliance
Experience in financial analysis for mergers and acquisitions
Bilingual fluency in French and English
Preferred:
Master’s or MBA in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Strong ability to work independently in a remote environment

**What are your contributions to the team?**
+ Proactively identify, develop and implement communications plans and strategies to promote Bombardier's brand and industry-leading aircraft
+ Create communications documents, including press releases, key messages, stakeholder messaging and speeches that help the company, and its leaders, disseminate Bombardier's brand values and industry leadership
+ Support Bombardier's corporate communications by working on various communications initiatives and announcements, including the quarterly publication of the company's financial results
+ Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other business functions to ensure cohesive communication efforts
+ Proactively build relationships with international media, monitor and analyze coverage, and distribute reports to stakeholders as required

**How to thrive in this role?**
+ You hold a bachelor's degree in communications/journalism/public Relations or a related discipline;
+ You have at least 5 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations or related discipline with experience in media relations preferred (experience with public company financial disclosure processes an asset);
+ You have excellent spoken and written communications skills in English and French;
+ You have demonstrated initiative as well as excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
+ You have a proven ability to work calmly in a fast-paced, complex environment and adapt to changing stakeholder requirements, ambiguous situations or crises with poise;
+ You can easily overcome obstacles/problems and achieve targets;
+ You can work independently or remotely collaborate in a team setting, including virtual teams;
+ You have a successful track record working in a corporate environment with senior executives;
+ You have corporate communications experience working within production-focused environments. Knowledge of the aerospace industry or other technically driven, complex industries an asset;
