**About the Role**
**Position Function**
Reporting to the Senior QA Specialist, this role is responsible for implementing, managing, and continuously improving Food Safety and Quality Programs. The Specialist also acts as back-up in facilitating audits, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and facility certifications (e.g., GFSI, and product claims such as Organic, Halal, RSPO, FAMI-QS, Kosher), and supports regulatory compliance across Canadian, U.S., and European standards.
**Scope**
The QA Specialist serves as the SQF Practitioner for Caldic Canada’s Mississauga location and supports other Caldic North American facilities in the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Food Safety and Quality Programs. At the Mississauga site, this role manages document control, internal audit, contractor program, and compliance with regulatory requirements; provides back-up support for customer, supplier, and third-party certification audits; and ensures timely closure of non-conformances and corrective action
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide back-up support in preparing, scheduling and facilitating customer, supplier, and third-party audits
- Lead the development, implementation, review, and continuous improvement of Mississauga’s Food Safety System, HACCP and GMP program; provide leadership support for Food Safety and Quality Programs at other Caldic North American Locations.
- Manage the internal audit program; provide back-up support for internal audits at other Caldic North American facilities.
- Act as HACCP Coordinator.
- Manage and maintain document control program for Caldic North America.
- Support customer complaints investigations and corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.
- Coordinate and deliver Executive QA reports on quality and compliance metrics.
- Manage and maintain the contractor program.
- Lead crisis management tests, food defense exercises, and mock recalls; ensuring corrective actions are implemented and closed.
- Support recall management activities.
- Escalate quality or food safety concerns promptly to ensure timely resolution.
- Support onboarding of new staff by providing basic food safety and GMP orientation.
- Communicate clearly with production, sanitation, and maintenance teams on QA-related issues.
- Coach production employees on proper practices, identify discrepancies or non-conformances on the floor or in documentation, and initiate corrective actions to address issues promptly.
- Lead verifications, validations, and risk assessments of food safety and quality systems, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
**Knowledge / Skills & Experiences**
- BSc degree, preferably in Food Science or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years’ QA experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of GFSI standards and HACCP programs.
- Experience working with regulatory and certification bodies (e.g., CFIA, FDA, GFSI).
- Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Comfortable working directly with operations staff to ensure compliance and understanding of food safety policies and programs.

Job purpose:
As a Quality Assurance Specialist at Goway, you’ll be a key player in making sure our travel systems work seamlessly. You’ll test new features, identify bugs, and ensure everything runs smoothly after it goes live. What will be your key responsibilities?
- Test Developments as the pass through the different selling, document or Salesforce platforms and ensure they are working as per the specifications.
- Write up a Test plan for Developments based on Specification documents provided by developers.
- Test fixes for System bugs to confirm an issue has been resolved
- Collaborates with the Lead for any process improvement
- Work with Team Lead to determine if there are any gaps missing in the development to ensure they meet Goway's needs
- Assist in writing clear release notes for developments you have tested to inform Goway staff how the development will affect them
- When a Development is not working as per the specification describe step by step how to get to the failure and what the failure is so it can be reported
- Provide detailed recreation steps identifying bugs found so that a case can be opened with 3rd parties
- Must be able to understand and load contracts to the system to understand how they interact with the Reservations module
- Conduct troubleshooting for any system/technical issues
- Communicate with our developers via Jira, Slack, MS Teams and/or Video Conference when needed to resolve time critical issues
- Contribute in meetings to review development requests and offer opinions and suggestions where specifications could fail to meet Goway's needs
- Manage personal and team goals with the required service level agreements, standards and targets
- Liaise with Team Lead to set KPIs and for any procedural Concerns and critical issues
- Action Escalated Level 2 Bug cases to confirm they are actually a bug and report to Developers Recreation steps via Jira
- Work with Bug and Training Helpdesk Team to ensure API issues are fixed and agents assisted
- Offer creative solutions and suggestions for streamlining testing or procedures
- Maintain User Manuals and LMS for Travel Agents and Loaders

This position reports to the Manager, Clinical QC and/or designate.
Duties and Responsibilities
1.Prepare study source documents and/or forms in accordance with protocols, PMRI SOPs and regulations.
2.Review and lock the electronic study setting in accordance with protocols.
3.Review study tube arrangement for complicated study procedures based on risk assessment.
4.Review study files upon data entry at the screening, check-in, on-study and post-study procedures.
5.Observe, on a random basis, the clinical procedures during the conduct of studies (i.e. screening procedures, subject entrance, meals, sample bundling, etc.), and make sure that they are performed in accordance with protocols, PMRI SOPs, GCP requirements and regulations.
6.Ensure that study files after study completion are accurate and legible according to protocols, PMRI SOPs, GCP requirements and regulations.
7.Review other study or non-study related documents (e.g. pharmacy and equipment calibration records etc.).
8.Provide reports on the observations/reviewed data to the relevant supervisors/managers and follow up upon resolution.
9.Liaise with other departments to improve the accuracy and quality of data.
10.Perform other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications
- College degree or B.SC. in clinical research, health, or science-related field or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of CRO experience or equivalent is an asset
- Good understanding of Phase I study protocols and conduct.
- Good knowledge of GCP requirements.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and good organizational skills.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team member.

BASIC FUNCTION:
The Electrical Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for ensuring all electrical installations meet Impact Energy standards, client requirements, and CEC code & Sask. Power requirements. This role involves conducting inspections, documenting findings, and working closely with project managers, site supervisors, and electricians to maintain quality and safety throughout all project phases.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties could include but not limited to:
● Ability to define and create inspection points with E&I assets with scoping drawings
● Perform inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and installations to verify compliance with design specifications, drawings, and applicable codes (CEC, CSA, etc.).
● Review and interpret electrical plans, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
● Identify and document non-conformances, deficiencies, or deviations and follow up on corrective actions.
● Conduct routine quality checks during all stages of construction and installation (rough-in, pre-commissioning, final testing).
● Prepare detailed inspection reports, maintain records of tests, and provide feedback to project management.
● Track asset inspections and % complete with pass/fail rate
● Track Rework HRs
● Create and own Punchlists
● Inspect and provide Quality Surveillance Reports
● Verify proper use of materials, tools, and equipment according to manufacturer and safety standards.
● Assist in commissioning and final acceptance testing of electrical systems.
● Collaborate with site supervisors, engineers, and project managers to resolve technical and quality issues.
● Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during inspections.
● Participate in internal and external audits as required. Ensure ITP is completed and Create Turnover Package
● Initiate and Attend Walkdowns with Client
● Provide Quality Bulletins Company Wide
● Ensure Technical Training is up to date (3M Training etc)
Requirements:
● Hold a valid Interprovincial Red Seal Certification as a Construction Electrician
● Previous experience in electrical inspection, quality control, or related field within the construction or industrial sectors.
● Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices (CEC, CSA, etc.).
● Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
● Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
● Strong communication and documentation skills, both written and verbal.
● Proficiency with inspection tools, testing instruments, and reporting software.
● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced construction environment.
● Ensuring all safety certifications are up to date and valid
● Class 5 Driver's License, with clean Driver Abstract
● Able to pass a Criminal Record Check and D&A Pre-Access Testing
