Summary
Reporting to the Director of Quality Assurance, the Quality Assurance (QA) Associate is responsible for conducting and reporting quality assurance audits and reviews as scheduled. The QA Associate supports the QA department in assessing compliance of clinical and non-clinical studies with applicable regulations, guidelines, study protocols, study plans and company SOPs.
Responsibilities

  • Perform audits of company facility and studies for compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), study protocols, pertinent regulations and guidelines (FDA, Health Canada, EMEA, etc.);
  • Perform inspections of Bioanalytical studies, for compliance with the OECD Principles of Good Laboratory Practices, Study Plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at the critical phases of the studies;
  • Review Workplans, Study plans, CAPAs, Change Controls/Implementations, SOPs;
  • Audit pre-study documentation, in-process activities, end-of-study documentation and study reports;
  • Conduct various facility audits, including audits of equipment maintenance, training records, computer validation and vendor qualification;
  • Keep Management up to date with findings and follow up on corrective actions;
  • Assist in the review, writing and distribution of SOPs, as applicable;
  • Assist QA management in hosting sponsor and regulatory audits/inspections;
  • Assist QA department in the training of personnel on SOPs and GCPs/GLPs.
  • Coordinate and interact with other departments to ensure corporate, departmental and study goals are met.
Education
  • BSc in life science, or equivalent.
Main Requirements
  • 3-5 years QC/QA experience, or related field, preferably including audits of studies in a regulatory environment (GLP preferred);
  • Knowledge and understanding of GCP, EMA, OECD, ICH, FDA in relation to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and/or GCP/GCLP quality requirements;
  • Experience writing and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
  • Clear and concise written and verbal English communication;
  • Knowledge in Drug Development, Validation of Analytical Methods, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance;
  • Various bioanalysis techniques an asset (e.g. Immunoassays, Quantitation, Mass Spectrometry, etc.);
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy, excellent investigative techniques;
  • Strong commitment and self-motivated;
  • Excellent organizational skills;
  • Proven flexibility to adjust to constantly changing priorities, handle multiple tasks, while maintaining quality;

Working Conditions

They will actively participate in the research and development of new products as well as the corrective action process.

Responsibilities:

Job Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in the aerospace industry, particularly in chemical processing.
  • Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and NADCAP chemical processing standards.
  • Experience in maintaining and improving a Quality Management System (QMS) and conducting root cause analysis.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to stay current with aerospace standards and update the QMS for continued compliance.
  • Fluency in English is required. French is an asset.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada.

**What are your contributions to the team?**
- Receive, revise and analyze any Quality Investigation Request (QIR) from our costumers and initiate the proper activities with our internal stakeholders.
- Search within Bombardier's documentation (i.e. drawings, processes, etc)
- Inspect aircraft component
- Determine quality issue root cause and corrective action
- Coordinate and manage the containment actions with our stakeholders (Quality, Engineering, Methods, Logistics, etc) involved in the quality escapes
- Lead weekly QIR's reviews
- Present to management new QIR and provide update when required
- Prepare, update and present to leadership the Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
**How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:**
- You hold a college or university degree in a field related to mechanical, aerospace, structure or equivalent.
- You have at least five (5) years of working experience in a regulated field of activity in one (or more) of the following functions: Quality, Engineering, Methods, Production.
- You can work with minimum supervision from home and on-site.
- You are a strong team player, self-motivated, and demonstrate initiative as well as leadership and good interpersonal skills.
- You can work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- You possess negotiating skills.
- You are rigorous in monitoring.
- You possess knowledge of aviation regulation.
- You are proficient with the Microsoft Office 365 suite.
- You possess good oral and technical writing skills in English and French. Spanish an asset.
- You possess knowledge of project management and/or problem resolution concepts (an asset).
- You have experience in design, manufacturing, inspection or assembly of aircraft component an asset.

**What are your contributions to the team?**
Bombardier is currently seeking a Software QA Analyst to join their Digital team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills with solid backend experience and excellent communication skills as they will be working closely with Development and Product Management teams to develop and maintain top quality digital applications. This role will require a solid mix of both manual testing with a focus on functional, integration, and regression testing, as well as exposure and understanding of Automation frameworks and scripting.
+ Creating QA test artifacts (Test Strategies, Test Scenarios and Cases, Test Results and Reports) and functional documentation.
+ Active contribution to scrum team ceremonies such as story grooming and refinement sessions, sprint planning & retrospectives, daily scrum meetings.
+ Executing manual and automated test cases at the functional, UI, API, Integration, and Regression levels to ensure requirements have been met.
+ Maintaining up to date Regression suite.
+ Reporting issues in requirements from the onset as well as usability issues once functionality has been released for testing.
+ Communicating test progress, results, and other relevant project information to key stakeholders and management.
+ Troubleshooting issues and clearly reporting them in Jira with an understanding of issue severity based on risk analysis.
+ Recommend process improvements after root cause analysis and report based on findings.
+ Staying up to date on Software QA practices and tools to ensure efficiencies in testing.
**How to thrive in this role?**
+ You have over five (5) years of proven expertise with manual testing experience in such areas as functional, regression, integration, user interface.
+ You have a strong expertise in automated testing frameworks and tools.
+ You have had exposure to non-functional testing such as Performance, Load, Security.
+ You have experience with Accessibility testing.
+ You have experience in writing SQL queries and scripts.
+ You have experience in working within an agile software development team.
+ You have a strong ability to analyze, define, and translate business and functional requirements, use cases, designs, and technical specifications into testing requirements.
+ You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and inter-personal skills.
+ You are a highly developed critical and analytical thinker geared toward first level problem solving.
+ You are well-versed in writing test cases and identifying all test scenarios that provide complete test coverage.
+ You are familiar with tools like Jira, Confluence, Sharepoint, Zephyr, Postman, Playwright.
+ You have the ability to prioritize work with a focus on deadlines and deliverables.
+ You are independently able to solve complex tasks and recognize as well as escalate risks.
+ You are quickly able to demonstrate a high level of productivity, learning, responsibility, and influence, accountable for all quality deliverables in a quest for continuous improvement.
