Required Qualifications:
3+ years experience as a real estate law clerk- Strong understanding of real estate law and ability to handle a file from start to finish
Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Strong knowledge of basic legal concepts, principles, and terminology
Experience working with Teraview and Unity.
Experience working with Lawyer Done Deal (LDD) would be an asset.
Superior interpersonal skills to interact with lawyers, clients, and colleagues
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
Attention to detail

Senior Commercial Real Estate Law Clerk
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages bulk lot sales (land developer to builder) including agreements, surveys, and all associated conveyancing documents
- Handles subdivision sale transactions and attends to end plan registrations
- Handles land acquisition, financing, and commercial & residential sales from start to finish
- Prepares various documents including purchase & sale agreements, transfers, charges, easements, notices, discharges, postponements, final reporting, etc.
- Identifies title and off-title issues and addresses them accordingly
- Directly communicates with clients, municipalities, and other lawyers' offices
- Organizes and maintains physical and electronic files
The successful candidate must demonstrate the following:
- A post-secondary diploma in a related Legal Administration and/or Law Clerk program, or equivalent years of experience
