**Job Description**
AECOM Canada is seeking a Risk Management Supervisor for a full-time position based in Mississauga.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Execute complex and critical duties requiring advanced techniques and comprehensive knowledge of specialized risk management and insurance principles, with minimal supervision.
+ Develop and implement solutions to multifaceted problems in the risk management domain.
+ Serve as an advanced technical specialist in risk management and insurance, exercising independent decision-making authority.
+ Verifies that the agreed project and program Risk Management Plans are being implemented by the project teams·
+ Integrates program-wide risk data to inform program level risk management decisions ·
+ Maintains a program-wide register of identified and/or emergent risks and opportunities for use on future projects
+ Conduct and oversee loss adjustment negotiations with insurance carriers and brokers.
+ Spearhead the development and implementation of risk management and loss prevention programs across the organization.
+ Analyze and interpret organizational policies, providing strategic recommendations for procedural improvements.
+ Plan, direct, and supervise the work of support specialists, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
+ Conduct regular progress reviews with senior management.
+ Demonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of the company's structure, operations, and industry position.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's degree with 6 years of related experience.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Recognized degree in engineering or related discipline or a combination of education, training, and experience deemed equivalent ·
+ 8 years of experience in development and implementation of risk management practices, risk identification, risk mitigation, and strategies on construction projects/programs of similar scope and size·
+ Certified Risk Management Lead (CRM) or similar designation
**Additional Information**
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $93,000.00 - $40,000.00.

The Risk Management Associate Rotational Program is an immersive, 24-month program where you'll complete four 6-month rotations designed to help you step into Financial and Non-Financial Risk Management including, but not limited to: credit, market, liquidity, operational, model, ESG, technology and data, regulatory and product risk. The goal of the program is to develop leaders who can understand and apply risk knowledge to a wide range of business functions at TD.

In this program you'll rotate across Risk Management within Canada (supporting Global activities in some instances) every six months:
+ **Market Risk**
+ In Market Risk We can accurately identify current and emerging risks in the market, offering transparency to both trading and non-trading risk results. Our dynamic and global business independently oversees counterparty credit, liquidity risk, and the market enterprise wide. We work diligently to ensure that all results align with the Bank's risk appetite, leveraging business insights and market expertise to get the job done.
+ **Enterprise Market Risk Control**
+ As a second line of defense, we provide independent oversight and challenge of the Bank's trading, non- trading, and liquidity risks. EMRC ensures all significant market and liquidity risks are appropriately governed, understood, analyzed, and measured. We support new business initiatives by working closely with TD.
+ Securities and Treasury and Balance Sheet Management and ensuring TD remains within risk appetite.
+ EMRC includes the following teams:
+ Non-Trading Market Risk

+ Credit risk is the risk of loss if a borrower or counterparty in a transaction fails to meet its agreed payment obligations. + **Operational Risk (including ESG, Cyber, and Innovation)**
+ Operational Risk: works with our business partners to ensure that the operational risk that stems from people and technological processes, including change, are identified, monitored, and managed effectively.
+ **Model Development (MD), & Validation**
+ MD is responsible for developing risk and capital models related to Trading Market Risk, Credit Risk, as well as Operational Risk bank wide. These models cover, but are not limited to, Advanced Measurement Approach for Operational Risk, Credit Risk Rating models, Credit Risk parameters (PD, LGD, UGD), Economic Capital models, IFRS9 models for Credit Risk, Value at Risk (VaR) and Counterparty Credit Risk models.

+ Providing advice and counsel on ongoing regulatory communication and emerging developments, as well as new initiatives within the bank that have a regulatory impact. Risk Management at TD Bank Group (TD) is the bridge between computational analysis and business best practices. Quantitative assessments play a key function within TD; these are actively used for developing, validating and managing models for risk, pricing, hedging and capital evaluation of the various portfolios and financial products of TD. **JOB DESCRIPTION**
**About the Program**
Through executive mentorship, the Risk Management Quantitative Associate Rotational Program is an immersive 24-month program designed to provide qualified and ambitious candidates the opportunity to step into our world. You'll receive comprehensive experience developing, validating, implementing and managing quantitative models throughout the enterprise. The goal of the program is to develop candidates with the necessary experience and tools to become effective leaders within Risk Management.
If you have a sharp mathematical mind with an eye for finance, we want you to be part of our leadership rotational program.
In this program you'll rotate across various quantitative departments within Risk Management areas every six months:
+ Model Development
+ Model Validation
+ Treasury and Balance Sheet Management
+ TD Insurance
+ TD Asset Management
+ TD Economics
+ Internal Audit

**Make an Impact:**
+ Build mathematical and statistical models for the North American profile of TD, both US and Canada. These models include credit risk (e.g., Probability of Default, Exposure at Default and Loss Given Default), operational risk and market risk models used for risk management, accounting, economic/regulatory capital and stress testing purposes
+ Assist in the development and testing of new modelling methodologies and effectively challenge these models through benchmark modelling, model validation and/or review within Internal Audit's model risk division
+ Prepare management summaries describing the mathematical analytics of models, validation techniques, test results and model limitations, including recommendations for further improvements
+ Help to manage the areas of risk and solvency assessment (ORSA), expected credit losses, asset and liability management along with liquidity
+ Participate in quantitative and qualitative validation efforts surrounding key processes including Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP), stress testing (DFAST/ EWST/MST) and regulatory capital

**About the Program**
The Risk Management Associate Rotational Program is an immersive, 24-month program where you'll complete four 6-month rotations designed to help you step into Financial and Non-Financial Risk Management including, but not limited to: credit, market, liquidity, operational, model, ESG, technology and data, regulatory and product risk. The goal of the program is to develop leaders who can understand and apply risk knowledge to a wide range of business functions at TD.

In this program you'll rotate across Risk Management within Canada (supporting Global activities in some instances) every six months:
+ **Market Risk**
+ In Market Risk We can accurately identify current and emerging risks in the market, offering transparency to both trading and non-trading risk results. Our dynamic and global business independently oversees counterparty credit, liquidity risk, and the market enterprise wide. We work diligently to ensure that all results align with the Bank's risk appetite, leveraging business insights and market expertise to get the job done.
+ **Enterprise Market Risk Control**
+ As a second line of defense, we provide independent oversight and challenge of the Bank's trading, non- trading, and liquidity risks. EMRC ensures all significant market and liquidity risks are appropriately governed, understood, analyzed, and measured. We support new business initiatives by working closely with TD.
+ Securities and Treasury and Balance Sheet Management and ensuring TD remains within risk appetite.
+ EMRC includes the following teams:
+ Non-Trading Market Risk
+ Liquidity Risk
+ **Credit Risk**
+ Credit risk is the risk of loss if a borrower or counterparty in a transaction fails to meet its agreed payment obligations. The Credit Risk team approves risk policies to all products and services that have credit risk and establishes guidelines to monitor and limit country risk, industry risk, and group exposure in portfolios.
+ **Operational Risk (including ESG, Cyber, and Innovation)**
+ Operational Risk: works with our business partners to ensure that the operational risk that stems from people and technological processes, including change, are identified, monitored, and managed effectively.
+ **Model Development (MD), & Validation**
+ MD is responsible for developing risk and capital models related to Trading Market Risk, Credit Risk, as well as Operational Risk bank wide. These models cover, but are not limited to, Advanced Measurement Approach for Operational Risk, Credit Risk Rating models, Credit Risk parameters (PD, LGD, UGD), Economic Capital models, IFRS9 models for Credit Risk, Value at Risk (VaR) and Counterparty Credit Risk models.
+ **Regulatory Risk**
+ Providing advice and counsel on ongoing regulatory communication and emerging developments, as well as new initiatives within the bank that have a regulatory impact. Monitoring emerging regulatory developments and finding common themes throughout TD's footprint and communicating these to internal stakeholders. Tracking and overseeing finding remediation to ensure timely responses and quality remediation to the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI), which includes maintenance of the Acceptance Review process. The **AVP, Strategic Risk Management** is responsible for leading the enterprise-wide strategic risk function, including the design, implementation, and oversight of frameworks that address risks with potential to materially impact the company's strategy, capital, and reputation-such as geopolitical, regulatory, environmental, and reputational risks. Reporting to the Global Head of Enterprise Risk Management, this role collaborates with senior leadership, provides strategic oversight and challenge across business segments, and ensures alignment with regulatory expectations. The AVP also will support and mentor a team of professionals, engages with regulators, and drives integration of strategic risk into planning and decision-making processes.
**Position Responsibilities** **:**
+ Strategic Risk Framework & Oversight (60%)
+ Lead the development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of Strategic Risk Policies and Frameworks.
+ Ensure alignment with the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework and evolving regulatory expectations.
+ Provide strategic oversight and challenge to the identification, assessment, treatment, monitoring, and reporting of strategic risks across business segments and corporate functions.
+ Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting (20%)
+ Produce high-quality risk reporting and insights for the Global CRO, Executive Risk Committee, and Board Risk Committee.

**Required Qualifications** **:**
+ Advanced degree in Risk, Business, Political Science, Law, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
+ Minimum of 15 years of experience in financial services, with a strong background in risk management, strategy, regulatory affairs, or public policy.
+ Proven ability to lead enterprise-wide initiatives and influence senior stakeholders, including Board-level engagement.
+ Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., OSFI, NAIC) and global risk standards.
