**Basic Qualifications**
+ **Experience:** 8+ years of progressive experience in enterprise network engineering, design, and operations within large-scale, globally distributed environments.
+ **Certifications:** Professional-level network certification (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent).
+ **Core Networking Expertise:** Extensive hands-on experience with advanced TCP/IP networking, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), MPLS, and modern network architectures.
+ **Network Automation:** Demonstrated proficiency in network automation and infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar.

Rumble is seeking a Senior Network Engineer who will be a pivotal member of the team that builds and maintains the network infrastructure that is at the core of the Rumble platform. Candidates applying for this position should be very experienced and highly skilled network engineers who are excited about the opportunity of building and supporting a fast growing, fault tolerant and high capacity network. A person who would be a successful candidate for this position loves challenges and problem solving, and has spent their career working on mission critical network environments. What you will do:

The Senior Network Engineer who is selected for this role will be responsible for building and supporting the Rumble network within and between our data centers, with responsibilities including:

• Problem solving complex issues in a multi-vendor network environment
• Building out network infrastructure at a sometimes fast and relentless pace
• Planning and executing changes to improve performance and stability
• Documenting improvements and exchanging ideas with other members of the team
• Participation in an on-call rotation, responding to and resolving incidents while communicating network status to other members of the team
• Occasional travel as needed

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of relevant network experience
• Deep experience with service provider L2/L3 protocols — EVPN, VXLAN, MPLS, BGP, IS-IS — you've used them in production at scale
• Solid experience with linux systems and using them in a production environment
• Expert troubleshooting experience — you're calm under pressure and can dissect and resolve the toughest infrastructure issues.
• Ability to create and maintain high quality network documentation
• Effective communicator (both verbal and written) who can clearly present information or ideas within a team
• Willingness to learn, be challenged and have fun in a dynamic and fast paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with network automation tools, Ansible experience a plus
• Experience with multiple network operating systems (Juniper, Arista, Cisco, etc.)
• Scripting experience with python or equivalent language
• Knowledge of anycast, and DDoS mitigation strategies
• Understanding of network security and management of firewall policy
• Experience with high-throughput, low latency network solutions for inter-data center connectivity (DWDM, dark fiber)
• Familiarity with methods of classifying network traffic and ensuring that mission critical traffic gets priority

Annual Compensation Range:

The base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $40,000 USD for US residents OR 111,000 - 125,000 CAD for Canadian residents. Other countries will differ. What you bring:

At Wireline Access Technology & Engineering team, we are looking for a network engineer to support new technology introduction and current generation CMTS platform engineering. You will be the subject matter expert on DOCSIS CMTS platform to integrate new platforms such as Virtual CMTS, Distributed Access Architecture, DOCSIS3.1 Enhanced etc., and to own and drive lab validation, Pre-Production testing and Production trial of these new technologies into the client's network. You will also maintain and stabilize the current generation CMTS platform, ensure our wireline residential and business customers have the best network experience.

What you'll do:

• Execute Lab, Pre-Production and Production testing and trial of bug fixes, new software releases and new CMTS features

• End-to-end integration of new CMTS platform and technology into client's network eco-system

• Own and drive network projects to work with internal teams and external vendors to provide the best customer experience to client's customers

Technical Skills:

• Firewalls: Hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Check Point firewalls, including policy configuration, troubleshooting, high availability and optimization.
• Wireless and Cloud Networking: Experience with Meraki networks and cloud-based management.
• Load Balancing: Proficiency with physical and virtual F5 load balancers, including configuration and troubleshooting.

Education & Certification
