Job Description:
As a Senior Manager of Sales Engineering, you will be responsible for selling into product and technical teams at communications service providers (CSPs), and you should have digital BSS experience. Your goal is to become a trusted technical advisor to our savvy customers. This role is based in Toronto, Canada.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical and solution leadership in all technical sales in the Americas
- Provide digital BSS focused sales support, including technically qualifying prospects, preparing technical proposals, responding to RFPs and RFIs
- Develop and maintain relationships with technical, BSS, IT, engineering leaders in the telecom domain
- Own and drive the technical sales strategy for the company’s DNO offerings (billing, charging, eSIM, etc.).
- Develop reusable solution frameworks and reference architectures for Tier 1 and Tier 2 operators.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to align roadmap and technical messaging with market needs.
- Work independently and proactively with minimal supervision
- Once a deal is closed help on-board the customer and hand-over to the account management and the delivery team
- Provide demos, proof of concepts (PoCs), and technical workshops tailored to customer needs.
- Delight your customers and drive customer references and case studies
- Work cross-functionally with LotusFlare Marketing, Product Management, Account Management and technical colleagues
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10 years experience in BSS supporting technical sales to VP-level executives of telecom operators
- BSS Domain expertise - Strong technical background selling Software and BSS solutions
- Excellent understanding of mobile and broadband telecommunications operator IT and digital systems
- Ordering, activation, fulfillment, charging and billing, catalog and eSIM product experience
- Familiarity with public cloud hosting infrastructure, including AWS
- Experience in delivering against a plan in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary, and often ambiguous environment
- Experience leading demos, POCs and sandbox environments
- Familiarity with telecom software standards including TMForum, Camara and GSMA
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- You are a digital savvy individual that knows the latest digital technologies and trends; you experiment and are open to integrating new digital technologies in everyday work
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible to be able to work in global timezone as needed

Our Sales Representatives are responsible for the sales of research products and services within a defined territory. They maintain effective customer relations, develop opportunities for growth within an existing customer base, and assure market penetration and profitability while achieving sales and profit forecasts. **Key responsibilities will be:**
Develop and maintain effective customer relations with purchasing and end user within assigned territory
Independently make decisions, but also utilize available resources to meet customer needs and work effectively with cross-functional team of supplier and internal resources; Seeks out broader relationships within the account to help facilitate networking and prospecting
Perform sales calls and vendor relations with all customers and potential customers in the assigned territory
Researches competitor and industry activity and keep informed of new products/services and other general information of interest to customers incorporating this data into the business plan; Introduce new products and services
Manage pricing within territory to control profitability
Maintain accurate reporting, records, and files necessary for proper management of territory
Communicate with supervisor any customer issues or potential problems, perform other tasks assigned by manager
Inform customers of supply and price trends and assist in inventory control, consults with customers
Positively represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at all times throughout customer locations
**Keys to Success:**
**Education**
Bacheloru2019s degree required, preferably in the sciences
**Experience**
2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the research laboratory industry OR lab experience
**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**
Bilingual (French/English) Required
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills
Computer proficiency in MS Office and the internet
Must possess the organizational skills to multi-task and meet deadlines as needed
Strong industry, pharmaceutical and science background preferred
Able and willing to travel to customer locations

As part of our growing team, we are seeking Field Sales Representatives located in all major cities across Canada and USA.
As a Field Sales Representative you will be promoting our Portable Air Sterilization and Disinfection units currently in high demand in Health Care, Hotels, Offices and all other public and private buildings.
The remuneration will be based on commissions and after the applicant has demonstrated their skills/results by way of sales of at least 5 Units, the applicant will be rewarded with fixed base compensation and commission will continue as usual.
All travelling and transportation expenses will be borne by company, based on size and spread of towns and cities the applicant intends to cover for sales and marketing.
