PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pre-award:
- Assist with the development and implementation of systematic reviews of Request for Proposals and Tender documentation to assess risks and opportunities.

- Take part in and assist with pre-award site visits and negotiations.
- Provide recommendations and assist in the implementation of standardized bidding formats to take advantage of historical project cost control information.
Post-Completion:

Your responsibilities
- Maintain good relationship with suppliers, consultants, general contractors and end users
- Manage all areas of the project including, contract management, financials, schedules, labour requirements, materials, deficiencies, etc.
- Estimate project costs, changes, and submit tenders
- Complete required paperwork for billing, and ensure payment is received
- Review reports and provide analytics to project team
- Arrange for project manuals to be completed
- Ensure that as-built drawings are completed and sent to the owner
- Report to the Operations Manager and work closely with the field team and with the assigned office support (coordinators, designers, technicians, and accounting) to achieve project performance, budget and schedule targets
Your experience and skills
- 3+ years of project management and estimating experience in related construction/electrical technologies field
- Solid knowledge of Security Systems including access control, CCTV and intrusion detection
- Trades qualification and/or electrical TQ, an asset
- Good computer skills. Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of Procore and Accubid, an asset
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills; and able to interact with project stakeholders, other project manager/estimators, field team, and office support team
- Strong organization and time management skills

Salary range: $85,000-$100,000 per year plus a competitive total compensation package. Actual salary will be commensurate with experience, skills and overall match to the position offered. Let's chat throughout the hiring process and determine the best fit.
