Job Summary:
This is a full-time, hands-on role for experienced construction workers who are comfortable handling a variety of physical tasks on active job sites. You will be responsible for supporting site operations, working with tools and materials, and assisting tradespeople as needed. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, adheres to safety protocols, and brings 2–3 years of proven experience in construction environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual labor tasks such as lifting, loading, digging, and site preparation
- Operate construction tools and basic equipment safely and effectively
- Assist skilled trades people and follow the supervisor's instructions on-site
- Erect and dismantle temporary structures, fencing, or scaffolding
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety on the job site
- Report hazards, equipment issues, or incidents promptly
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in construction or general labor
- Strong understanding of job site safety and use of PPE
- Physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ lbs, bending, and standing for long periods
- Ability to read and follow basic site instructions
- Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented
Preferred Qualifications:
- WHMIS, Working at Heights, or other safety certifications
- Experience with power tools and light machinery
- Familiarity with residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects
- Ability to interpret simple blueprints or drawings
- Access to reliable transportation
