- Strong understanding of bus/interface protocols – AXI, AHB, AMBA.
- Background in networking architecture, Ethernet, packet processing.
- Familiarity with encryption/security protocols such as MACsec, IPsec.

Job Summary
The Hardware Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing the design and development of hardware products in the Product Development department, while taking into consideration the goals of the company and the needs of the customers. This role is responsible for ensuring Delta Intelligent Building Technologies standards and processes, along with engineering best practices, are being followed and continually improved upon throughout the design, verification, validation and manufacturing phases.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive best practices around the design & development of embedded hardware products and collaborate on interdepartmental process optimizations
- Provide technical direction and guidance for hardware development.
- Identify the optimal application of technology and engineering resources to meet product development and/or customer requirements.
- Ensure that the products are fully and correctly defined and documented.
- Assign technology research and investigations.
- Perform line management duties for personnel, including performance appraisals and pay reviews.
- Facilitate professional development for team members including training and other career development opportunities.
- Recruit Hardware Designers in conjunction with the Human Resources Department. This includes the hiring of full-time, part-time, contract and student (co-op) staff for hardware functional group.
- Create and manage a budget for the Hardware functional group.
- Provide consultative inputs to project schedules as needed.
- Verify that the Project Teams follow company processes and procedures as well as standard Engineering practices and principles. Audit performance and maintenance of records.
- Develop, coordinate and implement improvements in hardware development
methodology, tools and best practices ensuring best fit with corporate and end-
customer requirements - Derive and maintain suitable performance metrics to measure hardware development performance.
- Experience implementing processes around DFX (DFM, DFT, DFR, DFSC)
- Experience in reliability engineering concepts (DFMEA, PFMEA, HALT).
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering or equivalent related experience; Mechatronics option preferred.
- P.Eng. required.
- 10+ years in high volume manufacturing of which 3+ years are in a managerial role.
- Proven management ability.
- The ability to identify and build on distinctive strengths within a team.
- Strong interpersonal and technical communication and writing skills.
- Solid understanding of engineering technical issues and needs as they relate to our industry.
Work Location: In-office environment that is currently 3 days per week

The Test Engineering - Intern will also work to test and troubleshoot custom test equipment such as interface CCAs, test cables, universal test boxes, optics test boxes, arming panels, and system level functional tests.

· Strong working knowledge of communications protocols (i.e. RS232, RS422, USB, I2C, CAN Bus, Ethernet etc.).
· Experience with SDI video standards and signal analysis techniques
· Experience designing and developing functional tests and/or automation systems using LabVIEW & C# is an asset.
· Familiarity with JTAG Boundary Scan testing.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
· University Degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
· 3-5 years of relevant and recent experience in Test / Electrical Engineering.

Job DescriptionThe Sr. Manager, Digital Solutions will be a member of the Canadian Product team supporting the development, deployment, growth, and strategy of Visa’s products and platforms, including but not limited to Tokenization, 3DS Visa Secure, Visa Payment Passkey, Visa Intelligent Data Exchange, Cloud Token Framework, Digital Authentication Framework, Tap to Device, Contactless, Visa Account Updater, and Value-Added Services.
This individual will contribute and help drive the digital authentication products agenda for Canada based on client needs, local market demands, and corporate priorities. They will work with internal stakeholders (including global digital product teams, local product and functional teams, sales teams etc.) and external stakeholder (including clients, technology enablers, wallet providers, etc.) to conceive, deliver, manage, and promote Visa’s digital product solutions and strategy.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ecommerce and digital payment authentication, a strong strategic mindset, and the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders. A proven track record in product management, particularly in digital payment solutions or similar products, is highly desirable.
Key Accountabilities
- Support product strategy, product roadmap and product growth for digital solutions in the Canadian market.
- Support the full product lifecycle, including product and market research, product roadmap creation, business casing, testing, pilot, and post launch execution.
- Identifying and recommending opportunities to enhance Visa’s solutions product through potential new features/services, redefining the value proposition, and product developments.
- Create collateral and assets, including client decks, product roadmaps, FAQs, technical documentation, etc.
- Establish and track key performance metrics and conduct data analysis to monitor performance, identify opportunities and enhance product strategy.
- Create presentations and content for external and internal meetings, deliver presentations, and gather feedback to enhance product development.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (including Sales, CS, Marketing, VCA) to drive product strategy, promote and sell product solutions, and execute on product launches.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the digital payment landscape, including customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends.
- Ensure compliance with products, brand and risk management standards are met.
The position will report into the Director, Digital Solutions, Visa Canada
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- Bachelors or Masters degree ideally with a STEM focus (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) or equivalent.
- Expertise in program / product management.
- Basic Business Analyst capability with strong excel experience and comfortable using other data analytics platform such as Tableau
- Ability to understand architectural and technical aspects of product development
- Exceptional collaboration and partnership skills
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
- Strong leadership, enthusiasm, and accountability with high attention to detail and quality for all work products
