**New Hire Schedule:** FLEXIBLE Monday to Saturday, 4-5 shifts, 4-6-hour shifts - weekly change in schedule where needed

# **Job Summary**
Prepares, presents and serves meals, ensuring the quality of the food and overall presentation.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
- Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
- Carry pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
- Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
- Set up items for purchase on daily basis.
- Perform general cleaning duties; remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
- Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
- Utilize approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control. Notify cooks if food temperatures are not within acceptable limits.
- Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
- Resolve customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
- Assure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
- Provide service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.

- FoodSafe Level 1 Certification.
- Familiar with the use of a cash register is an asset.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to be able to manage heavy workload.

- Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Previous food service experience in healthcare, hotel, restaurant or fast food is considered an asset.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.

Technical Business Analyst, Merchandising & Supply Chain

Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and confident Technical Functional Analyst to join our client’s Merchandising and Procurement Technology team. This virtual role goes beyond traditional business analysis—it's about owning product data, designing solutions, and driving transformation across procurement, vendor management, and EDI integration. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across merchandising, category management, and IT to deliver scalable, efficient systems that support inbound supply chain operations, product lifecycle management and our overall product growth
Functional & Process Ownership
- Act as a strategic partner to merchandising and procurement teams—understand product/vendor relationships, costing, and inbound supply chain flows.
- Own the Technology used to manage product master data, ensuring accuracy and alignment across systems.
- Lead EDI-related initiatives with external partners and internal stakeholders.
Solution Design & Implementation
- Design and deliver technology-enabled solutions that align with business goals.
- Oversee testing, implementation, and user training for new systems and enhancements.
- Collaborate with development teams to translate functional needs into technical requirements and turn these requirements into Value-based epics and stories to drive outcomes.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Facilitate workshops with managers, directors, and category leads to gather requirements and identify process gaps.
- Build strong relationships across merchandising, procurement, and IT—be a trusted advisor and change agent.
- Communicate project updates, risks, and recommendations clearly to leadership.
Documentation & Analysis
- Create functional specifications, process documentation, and user guides.
- Analyze data to uncover trends and inform business decisions.
- Support continuous improvement efforts across merchandising and supply chain operations.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in merchandising, procurement, or supply chain environments—especially inbound logistics and vendor/product management.
- Strong understanding of EDI systems, product master data, and costing models.
- Experience leading ERP or system implementations from a functional perspective.
- Agile mindset—Scrum experience preferred; familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
- Technical fluency: SQL, Microsoft 365, AWS/cloud platforms; AS400 experience a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills—comfortable engaging with directors and senior leadership.
- Experience in environments using test-driven and hypothesis-based development
- A proactive, value-driven, solution-oriented approach with the ability to think outside the box and drive change.
This is a virtual role, and can be anywhere in Canada, the working hours are 8 am - 4:30 pm. Monday - Friday.
