Rôle et responsabilités :
- Définir et développer la conception et l’architecture électriques et électroniques (circuits imprimés, électronique de puissance, systèmes de sécurité).
- Diriger et coordonner les activités de conception électronique (analyse des besoins, conception, prototypage, revues de conception).
- Effectuer la modélisation, la conception, les essais et le soutien de systèmes électromécaniques à microprocesseur, de systèmes de chauffage et de systèmes de communication.
- Promouvoir l’excellence des processus : tirer parti des processus éprouvés, partager les leçons apprises et adopter les meilleures pratiques d’autres secteurs de l’entreprise ou de l’industrie.
- Définir et suivre les indicateurs de performance technique.
- Documenter l’architecture et la conception électriques et électroniques.
- Documenter la planification de l’intégration des systèmes.
- Baccalauréat en génie (maîtrise un atout).
- Minimum de 7 ans d’expérience en conception, test et soutien de systèmes électromécaniques à microprocesseur (10 ans et plus, un atout).
- Expérience dans la gestion des processus de certification électrique et de sécurité (CE, UL, CSA) et dans la direction de tels efforts, un atout.
- Connaissances avancées et expérience dans l’intégration de capteurs, d’actionneurs et de moteurs dans des systèmes complexes. Connaissances et expérience en électronique de puissance et systèmes de chauffage, un atout.
- Expérience en conception, modélisation et simulation de systèmes de contrôle en temps réel.
- Excellentes compétences en dépannage et en analyse des causes fondamentales.
- Maîtrise des instruments de mesure (oscilloscope, multimètre, analyseur logique).
- Compétences de base en soudure, y compris avec des composants montés en surface.
- Connaissance de l’architecture de bus électronique et/ou des interfaces et/ou des protocoles de transfert et de communication de données.
- Expérience avec le langage C et au moins un autre langage de programmation; expérience en développement de logiciels embarqués, un atout.
- Expérience en simulation de circuits et de systèmes de contrôle.
- Grand souci du détail.
- Capacité de travailler dans un environnement dynamique et engagement à respecter les échéanciers de livraison.
- Capacité à communiquer efficacement (à l’écrit et à l’oral) avec des membres techniques et non techniques du personnel d’ingénierie/gestion et avec le personnel assigné aux travaux connexes.
- Expérience et aptitude à résoudre des problèmes complexes au sein d’une équipe d’ingénierie intégrée.
- Faire preuve d’un haut degré d’initiative, d’adaptabilité et d’autonomie.
- Maîtrise de l’anglais (parlé et écrit).
- Expérience avec l’ERP Odoo et le logiciel de conception Kicad.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Define and develop electrical and electronic design and architecture (pcbs, power electronics, safety systems).
- Lead and coordinate electronics design activities (requirement analysis, design, prototyping, design reviews).
- Perform modelling, design, testing and support of microprocessor based electro-mechanical systems, heating systems, and communication systems.
- Drive process excellence: leverage proven processes, share lessons learned and adopt best practices from other parts of the business or industry.
- Define and track technical performance metrics.
- Document electrical and electronic architecture and design.
- Document system integration planning.
Qualifications:
- Engineering bachelor’s degree, graduate degree an asset
- Minimum 7+ years experience in the design, test, and support of microprocessor based electro-mechanical systems, 10+ yr an asset
- Experience managing electrical and safety certification processes (CE, UL, CSA), leading such efforts, an asset
- Advanced knowledge and experience integrating sensors, actuators and motors into complex systems, knowledge and experience of power electronics and heating systems, an asset
- Experience in real time control systems design, modelling and simulation.
- Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Expert usage of measurement tools (oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer).
- Basic soldering skills including surface mount components.
- Knowledge of electronic Bus Architecture and/or Interfaces and/or data transfer and communication protocols.
- Experience with C and at least one other software language, experience developing embedded software, an asset
- Experience in circuit and control systems simulation.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be committed to release deadlines.
- Communicate effectively (in writing and verbally) with technical and non-technical members of the engineering/management staff and personnel assigned to related work.
- Experience and aptitude for solving challenging problems in an integrated engineering team environment.

dcbel is looking to hire a Senior Mechanical-Thermal Design Engineer to work in our growing team. We are searching for a candidate with prior experience/knowledge related to thermal mitigation techniquesfor consumer electronic products.
Main responsibilities
- Utilize Solidworks Flow Simulation software to design electronic cooling strategies for use in consumer products.
- Design, analyze, prototype, and validate various cooling system components such aspassive/active heatsinks, heat spreaders, and cooling fan systems.
- Coordinate with component suppliers on prototype creation, tooling design, and productionmanufacturing logistics.
- Create component drawings, assembly drawings, bills of materials, and change orders.
- Manage design CAD data via PLM/PDM systems.
- Collaborate with Product Design, Electronics, Manufacturing, and Testing teams.
- Ensure designed products meet the required quality and safety standards required for UL certification.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate complex electronic modules (FPGA, CPLD, electronic boards, ASIC, etc.) in an avionics context
- Contribute to planning and execution of DO-254 certification activities (requirements definition, design, verification, traceability)
- Draft and update associated documentation (plans, requirements, test procedures, verification reports)
- Perform analysis and resolution of hardware anomalies in collaboration with system and software teams
- Participate in technical reviews, customer interactions, and certification authority meetings
- Provide technical support for the integration of safety-critical avionics systems (flight control, flight management, interface units, …)
