Provide training and on-going coaching for department-specific merchandising programs and task skills. Assist in the development of training programs that support implementation of commercial programs. Actively contribute to a positive and productive working environment.
Participate in development programs and provide feedback for alternatives and creative solutions
Support department development and performance through targeted training, coaching and follow-up
Make all preparations for training programs, classes and attend, train and evaluate training programs
Perform quality and adherence checks during store visits and check merchandising plans and requirements
Follow-up on course requirements and use pre-determined metrics to measure level of implementation and financial results of programs
Suggest continuous improvement ideas to merchandising from follow-up
Conduct needs assessment on non-compliance and participate in training required at new stores/renos
Update department training manuals as required to reflect current programs and standards
Identify, assess training gaps and ensure all applicable company policies and procedures are communicated and adhered to
Responsible for ensuring that OH&S, Food Safety, and other regulatory requirements and procedures, are implemented and maintained
React to areas where there are problems with program implementation
Provide u2018as neededu2019 one-on-one coaching and development for service managers when requested
Support continuous development of department employees during training and store visits
Maintain a clean and safe working environment as per company requirements
What you have to offer:
An Undergraduate Degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
Working knowledge of SAP, proficient use of Microsoft Office suite
Working knowledge of store operations (business acumen)
Retail Grocery Fresh experience (strong asset)

- Review and validation of cabling system designs, drawings, specifications, and submittals for technical accuracy, scalability, and compliance.

**Preferred Requirements:**
+ Over 10 years of experience working in a Class C Canadian airport environment, delivering services of comparable scope and complexity.
+ Proven expertise in IIoT protocols including MQTT, OPC UA, and Modbus.
+ Skilled in edge computing platforms such as Siemens, Advantech, and Azure IoT Edge.
+ Proficient in cloud-based IoT platforms including AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, and PTC ThingWorx.
+ Strong understanding of control systems architecture, including SCADA, PLCs, and OT/IT convergence.
+ Experienced in secure IIoT network design and implementation of cybersecurity frameworks.
+ In-depth knowledge of advanced technologies such as Lidar, video analytics, and MAC/IMEI tracking.
+ Familiar with LoRaWAN, PWN, and digital twin concepts, with the ability to conceptualize sensor-driven designs for data aggregation and ingestion.
+ Well-versed in modern technology ecosystems including SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, SOA, APIs, and microservices.
+ Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with a strong customer focus and conflict resolution skills.
+ Capable of working independently with minimal supervision, while also excelling in collaborative environments.

The Technical Expert has the following main responsibilities:
Advise the sales team to determine the feasibility of opportunities at STAS;
Support the sales team with technical presentations or meetings with clients to ensure a clear understanding of their needs and to ensure the company's credibility;
Approve technological solutions at various stages of the equipment realization value chain, whether during sales, design, procurement, assembly, or commissioning.
Participate and provide technical advice during equipment commissioning at clients' sites;
Ensure the performance demonstration of STAS products related to metallurgy at clients' sites.
Job requirements
Hold a college (DEC) or university (bachelor's) degree in metallurgy or a related discipline or any other equivalent training combined with relevant experience.
Demonstrate significant experience (minimum 10 years) in a technical expert position, ideally in a metallurgical industrial environment.
Experience or expertise in foundry will be considered an asset.
Available for occasional travel.
Spoken and written languages: French and English. This position requires mastery of English due to regular interactions with English-speaking international partners. English enables the provision of quality service, precise document writing, and effective collaboration;
Excellent understanding of metallurgical processes;
Strong technical problem-solving skills;
