We are looking for aWarehouse Team Lead who enjoys variety in their daily activities, and pays close attention to detail. As a key part of our product distribution you will work to:
- Create a positive working environment by establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
- Provide leadership and mentorship of the teams daily workflow;
- Partake in all aspects of warehousing and inventory as per Sinclair Supply policies, procedures and practices;
- Complete accurate daily warehousing, and administrative requirements as per Sinclair Supply policies, procedures and practices;
- Perform inventory control and maintenance as required, including cycle and annual inventory counts;
- Ensure excellent service is provided to internal and external customers and stakeholders;
- Work with other Sinclair Supply and supplier staff to resolve problems within daily tasks;
- Safely and efficiently performs loading and unloading activities
- Operate and maintain all equipment such as pallet wrapper, pallet jacks and forklifts, and company vehicle, as instructed and per Sinclair Supply policies, procedures and practices;
- Fully comply with and complete all documentation as per Sinclair Supply health and safety policies, procedures and practices, and other legislation and regulatory requirements including strict adherence to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements;
- Complete required training and education as per Sinclair Supply policies, procedures and practices, and relevant legislation and regulation;
- Actively partake in staff meetings and required working groups;
- Maintain a clean, orderly and safe working environment as directed; and
- Any other related tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or other senior leadership.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Previous forklift experience and/or ability to attain forklift certification, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and WHMIS certifications
- Ability to stand, walk, bend and be active for duration of shift
- Ability to communicate with coworkers and customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Proficiency in basic computer skills to utilize Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to safely lift 50lbs while unassisted
- Basic English language proficiency in reading and writing

The Team Lead at Activate works under the direction of the Store Leader. The primary responsibilities are to ensure customers receive a positive experience during their visit to Activate and to oversee all staff on shift, providing them with guidance and assistance as needed. They have overall expectations to lead by example, model behaviours around attendance, attitude, and attention to detail. This is a full-time position at our Winnipeg West store located at 3338 Portage Ave.
The Duties and Responsibilities:
Customer and Store Operations
- Responsible to answer phones and emails and capitalize opportunities to accommodate customer needs; troubleshoot challenges around bookings to secure them
- Responsible to perform overrides at check-in, completing daily cash out sheets accurately, creating and receiving invoices, and taking payments
- Resolve customer complaints and escalate to the Store Leader as required
- Effective communication to their team and customers of the status of the facility including each room to ensure the best customer experience
- Aware of all Activate Programs, ensure they are applied in compliance with company standards
People Leadership
- Train new employees, lead with knowledge, maintaining a key focus on customer success
- Coach and foster relationships with incoming potential customers, existing employees and management

Maintenance and Inventory

The Qualifications:
