Position Overview

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to join the Developer Relations team within our Developer Ecosystem Organization. In this role, you will lead global Developer Relations team focused on CI/CD, Observability, and Cloud Computing support, as well as onboarding to CloudOS, Autodesk’s enterprise Cloud Development Platform, and regionalization efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding and hands-on experience in building modern CI/CD pipelines and Cloud deployments. They will also excel in building relationships and providing onboarding support to our growing team of product engineers. Knowledge of modern engineering best practices and industry trends is essential. You should be comfortable in an agile environment and skilled at building highly effective teams. Responsibilities

  • Manage high-performance technical support engineering teams, fostering their growth and inspiring innovation and operational excellence

  • Drive the design and implementation of tools and applications for an automated support system

  • Collaborate in technical and architectural discussions, provide direction, and drive decision-making

  • Regularly communicate and collaborate with various functions, including engineers, architects, product owners, and product managers

  • Proactively remove roadblocks to your team’s progress and empower your team to release quality software frequently and confidently

  • Build an open, trusting, operationally mature culture, mentor team members, and provide your team with the tools and motivation to thrive

  • Ensure internal development teams using our platform are supported through standard methodologies, documentation, and productivity tools

  • Navigate escalations and act as a bridge between different engineering teams

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7–12 years of experience managing and growing high-performing engineering teams with a focus on CI/CD pipelines, Cloud deployment, and DevOps, with strong developer advocacy experience

  • Primary skills: CI/CD, AWS, Containerization, Terraform

  • Secondary skills: Observability, Programming

  • Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Database Management, and Networking), Kubernetes, and API Management using GCP Apigee

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field

  • Proven track record of building high-performing engineering teams with diverse skill sets and attracting top talent

  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional partners to drive and influence product and technical strategy

  • Ability to drive high technical standards, accounting for performance, reliability, and scalability

  • Experience in working with distributed teams

  • Demonstrated experience in adapting and improving engineering best practices (e.g., test-driven development, continuous delivery, scrum practices, automation, maintainable and testable code, etc.)

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; you can explain complex technical issues in a way that is understandable to a broad audience

**Responsibilities:**

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager, Observability Engineer to design, implement, and optimize solutions that provide deep visibility into our distributed systems. In this role, you will work closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure our applications and infrastructure are monitored, measurable, and reliable. Your expertise will help us detect issues faster, remediate problems automatically, and continuously improve system performance.
Role
- Design, build, and maintain observability solutions using Open Telemetry (OTEL), Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, ELK Stack, and related tools.
- Develop automated remediation and self-healing workflows to reduce downtime and accelerate incident recovery.
- Implement monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting across applications and infrastructure for comprehensive visibility.
- Leverage machine learning to detect anomalies, predict failures, and drive proactive improvements.
- Collaborate closely with software teams to instrument code, build dashboards, and analyze telemetry data for actionable insights.
- Continuously enhance observability tooling and processes to improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.

  • Responsible for the technical impact analysis of all Oracle Updates / Patches.

  • Creates refresh request and support Post Cloning activities across all Oracle instances / environments.

  • Supports ODA archives and ensures the timely and accurate execution of the archival process for Oracle Cloud data based on the functional requirements of the business.

  • Supports application and integration development efforts, contributing to the continuous improvement of technical solutions.

  • Manages the maintenance and configuration of technical setups to ensure system integrity and functionality.

  • Provides Tier 3 support to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, working closely with support teams and Oracle product support as needed.

  • Leads a team of functional and technical professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and ensuring the alignment of team efforts with project objectives and business needs.

  • Accountable for team performance and development, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring alignment with business goals.

What you’ll bring

  • 7+ years of experience in technical development, administration, configuration, or technical support roles. Proficiency with Oracle Cloud Applications, Oracle Infrastructure, Oracle Integration Cloud, and Oracle Cloud Identity and Access Management is highly desirable.

  • Hands on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) ;. familiarity with integration patterns, REST/SOAP web services, and cloud architecture principles.

  • At least 1 Oracle Cloud Implementation (cycle) experience; certifications are a plus.

  • Knowledge of ATP DB, Visual Builder Cloud and APEX development are good to know.
