**What are your contributions to the team?**
- Develop new sources of supply and establish strategic alliances.
- Develop negotiation business strategies.
- Lead and participate in the development of the commodity by managing projects that would include the preparation of business cases.

- Actively participate in supplier program reviews led by the business units.
- Develop and coach team members on procurement initiatives and processes.
- Support commodity manager in the performance development plan process.

Job Description

The Director of Procurement and Transportation is responsible for the operational management of purchasing, procurement, and transportation activities for all components, raw materials, and finished products related to camera manufacturing. He/she ensures optimal resource availability while controlling costs, deadlines, and quality, in accordance with the company's technical and commercial requirements.

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGES:

Procurement:

  • Define and lead the procurement of electronic, optical, mechanical components, etc.
  • Select, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, ensuring quality, reliability, and competitiveness.
  • Supervise order management, inventory, and purchasing forecasts in conjunction with production.
  • Monitor supplier markets (prices, innovation, availability).

Transportation:

  • Organize and optimize incoming logistics flows (procurement).
  • Coordinate domestic and international transportation, including customs formalities and export/import regulations.
  • Establish performance indicators (KPIs) to measure transport efficiency, service rates, etc.
  • Manage relationships with transport providers.

Team management and continuous improvement:

  • Supervise and lead a multidisciplinary team (buyers, transport coordinators).
  • Implement a continuous improvement process: cost reduction, optimization of deadlines, digitization of processes.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects (new product launches, opening of new markets, quality certifications).
Qualifications

THE EXPERTISE WE’RE LOOKING FOR TO GO FURTHER:

**What are your contributions to the team?**
+ Support the CPO and Procurement directors in cost reductions initiatives, contract negotiations and monthly / weekly governance process (travel may be required)
+ Review and approve supplier strategies and contract proposals + business cases
+ Support IGS cost reductions initiatives with aligned commodity strategies (ex. freight)
+ Ensure business partnership with Logistics teams for raw material and 3PL inventory management
+ Lead and drive special projects
+ Assess and recommend contracts accounting treatments and keep financial guidelines updated
+ Coordinate financial planning with other teams, PAP process and prepare executive financial presentations
+ Maintain proper internal controls in place
+ Present financial information and analysis to senior management in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
+ Support the development, engagement and mobilization of a team of 5 financial analysts
**How to thrive in this role?**
- You possess a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and have ten (10) years of relevant experience including employee supervision.
- You hold a professional accountant designation (CPA) or equivalent experience.
- You have impact and influence with senior management and strong business partnership background
- You have agility to deal with strong personalities and rally people; support leaders to achieve their goals
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively translate financial data into actionable insights for various audiences.
- You have a strong business sense
- You have an executive presence and strong communication skills in French and English
- You can take charge and drive complex projects and strategic presentations
- You have a good ability for teamwork
- You think outside the box
- You develop people and grow talent
- You are bilingual in both spoken and written.
