Role Description

The Construction Quality Control Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that construction activities meet established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications by

  • Work proactively with Supply chain, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, and Engineering teams to define requirements and ensure in-process control in manufacturing to achieve requirements and prevent failures in-house and at our customers.
  • Review and approve internal changes over Engineering Change processes.
  • Review and approve internal PPAP submissions and updates.
  • Actively participate in PFMEA and Control Plan development to ensure potential risks are captured and mitigated.

WHO YOU ARE:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Graduation in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quality Engineer
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Power B.I expertise
  • Metrology training
  • Knowledge on APQP, PPAP, AIAG Methods: Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), PFMEA, Control Plans, Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), Statistical Capability and Capacity Analysis
  • Internal Auditor ISO 9001 Certified.
  • Lean Six Sigma and/or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) training.

Skills:

  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration capabilities, Strong Project Management skills
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency and responsiveness to ensure commitments are met.
