FYidoctors is seeking a dedicated and passionate Optometrist to join our team at our large, modern clinic in Regina Grasslands. In addition to seeing patients at our main location, our Optometrists also provide care at satellite clinics in Moosomin, Whitewood, and Carlyle on a rotating basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Optometrist who values community, patient-centered care, and ongoing professional development.
This is a part-time position for the remainder of 2025, with the option to transition into a full-time schedule starting January 2026. Additionally, we have other openings within our Regina network, offering the potential for extra days throughout the remainder of 2025.
Our Regina Grasslands clinic has been a trusted part of the community for decades and became one of FYidoctors’ original clinics when it joined the network in 2008. The clinic spans an impressive 6,050 square feet and features a spacious, well-lit dispensary showcasing over 2,000 stylish frames—ensuring every patient finds the perfect fit. With six fully equipped exam lanes and a team of 32 dedicated professionals, we are proud to offer exceptional care in a collaborative environment. We also have an on-site lab, led by a technician with over 36 years of experience, which enables us to provide efficient, high-quality service.
The clinic is open Monday through Saturday, and we are pleased to offer a flexible schedule tailored to the needs of the incoming Optometrist. You’ll work alongside a team of experienced ODs in a supportive and collegial setting that fosters learning and collaboration.

Job Responsibilities
Administer eye drops, ointments and medications as directed by the optometrist
Prepare all exam rooms including sterilization and calibration of instruments
btain and record patient’s preliminary case history
gnostic testing as directed by optometrist
tilize electronic medical records to assist doctor in exam room as medical note taker
ssist with contact lens training, diagnostic lens orders and follow up patient visits
earn all facets of patient reception and optical styling and sales to provide backup to
team when necessary
ther duties as requested by leadership team
Qualifications/Skills
roficient in use of internet and Microsoft Office
olid keyboarding skills: 50 WPM
xcellent spelling and clear communication
amiliarity with optometry or medical office protocols an asset but not necessary
trong ability to function on multiple tracks at the same time
