Responsibilities:



  • Procurement & Supplier Management
    • Source materials, components, or products.
    • Select, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers.

    • Lead procurement activities for all product lines with focus on imported goods.



  • Logistics & Import Coordination
    • Coordinate inbound shipments from Asia including booking, documentation and custom clearances.
    • Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
    • Oversee freight, customs brokers/clearance, and delivery performance.
    • Track shipments and communicate delays or issues with internal stakeholders.



  • Inventory & Warehousing
    • Manage stock levels across warehouses and production facilities.
    • Implement just-in-time (JIT) and safety stock policies.
    • Coordinate with warehousing teams to optimize space and efficiency.
  • Production Planning
    • Forecast demand in collaboration with Sales and Operations.
    • Schedule manufacturing activities and material requirements.
    • Balance capacity and supply to meet customer demand.
  • Demand Planning & Forecasting
    • Analyze historical sales data and market trends.
    • Coordinate with Sales, Operations and Finance to create accurate demand forecasts and supply plans.
    • Develop demand plans to inform procurement and production.
  • Operational & Tactical Tasks
    • Monitor KPIs (inventory turnover, logistics cost, overstock, stock-outs, supplier lead time)
    • Manage ERP system (MS Business Central) for supply chain visibility.
    • Coordinate cross-functional meetings with Finance, and Operations teams.
    • Lead cost-saving initiatives across supply chain and sourcing functions.
    • Lead risk management initiatives (i.e. assessing supply disruptions and contingency planning)
  • Strategic & Analytical Duties
    • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with corporate goals.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities through process improvement or vendor optimization.
    • Lead risk management initiativese.g., assessing supply disruptions and contingency planning.
    • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (import/export laws)
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Liaise with internal teams (Engineering, Quality, Customer service, Finance, Sales, Production).
    • Manage customer service levels through proactive logistics and inventory planning.
    • Report to senior management with dashboards and performance summaries.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS undergraduate degree in Materials Management, Business (with emphasis in Supply Chain Management), Operations Management, or other technical discipline
  • 10+ years of production procurement and/or strategic sourcing experience in large, best-in-class logistics or materials management, and/or manufacturing operations; including at least 5 years of experience leading and/or managing geographically distributed teams ideally within the consumer products industry
  • Exceptional service-oriented communication and team skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills, experience managing teams and projects
  • Critical thinking skills: must be able to come up with timely and innovative ideas to contribute to the companys success and growth

JOB PURPOSE

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain & Data Analytics, the Senior Supply Chain Analyst will play a pivotal role in enhancing the company's supply chain operations. This position involves conducting inventory forecasts, coordinating new program launches, and leveraging a team of Supply Chain Specialists and Analysts.

The Senior Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for supporting replenishment purchase order proposals, inventory analysis, and MRP assessments.

Additionally, the Senior Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for improving forecast models by thoroughly understanding the existing frameworks, identifying gaps, and implementing continuous enhancements. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct monthly MRP reviews and support order generation based on demand requirements.
  • Lead supply chain efforts for new product and customer launches, coordinating with Specialists and cross-functional teams.
  • Achieve budgeted inventory levels using system tools to analyze inventory requirements
  • Analyze and support inventory planning, allocation, and rebalancing to maintain target stock levels.
  • Provide support determining optimal purchase order quantities for products within several product categories, balancing purchase quantities, lead times and safety stock with customer targets
  • Identify and resolve inventory availability risks through proactive planning and corrective actions.
  • Partner with Specialists to work with vendors to improve on-time delivery and fill rate performance.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, packaging, finance, and logistics to meet service level targets.
  • Provide analytical support to Customer Service related to customer specific availability and Fill Rate related inquiries

  • Build and maintain SKU-level forecasts, including initial projections for new products, by leveraging historical data, market insights, and forecasting tools.
  • Run monthly forecast models, adjust for anomalies, and monitor forecast accuracy for continuous improvement.
  • Measure and monitor the forecast model’s accuracy to drive continuous improvement.
  • Create and update Tableau dashboards (e.g., forecast accuracy, POS), supporting management with actionable insights.
  • Leverage Python (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, Matplotlib) for advanced analytics, modeling, and visualization.
  • Proactively analyze market trends, customer behavior, and external factors to identify potential “riser” SKUs and recommend forecast adjustments for items with anticipated demand growth.
  • Analyze and update ABC classification codes (Pop codes)
  • Automate manual processes and workflows using Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Develop dashboards using Power BI and extract data using SQL; leverage Azure for advance data management and analytics.
  • Drive forecasting and supply chain improvements by collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Undergraduate degree or college diploma; specialization in supply chain, engineering, IT, statistics, or a related field is an asset.
  • 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, procurement, and/or purchasing, preferably in automotive or manufacturing.

  • Maintain and accurately update PO records, job entries, and inventory receipts in ERP (Epicor).
  • Verify and enter supplier invoices accurately.
  • Support 3PL activities for finished goods inventory tracking.

Customer & Vendor Relationship Management

  • Develop strong working relationships with customers, key factories and suppliers.
  • Proactively communicate updates to vendors to maintain alignment.

Administrative Support

  • Support cross-functional communication between Canada and Asia offices.
  • Ensure all shipping-related documentation is accurate and timely.

Continuous Improvement

About You


Our ideal candidatepossesses the following qualifications:

Location: Oakville, Ontario — On‑site

Role Summary

As Supply Chain Planner, you will support the end-to‑end planning and control of Brukar’s global supply chain. Working hand‑in‑hand with the head of supply chain along with sales, engineering, customers, and suppliers, you will translate demand into executable production schedules, balance inventory with working capital goals, and surface the data‑driven insights that fuel continuous improvement and world‑class service.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Production Planning & Scheduling

  • Convert demand forecasts and firm orders into purchase/production orders for Brukar’s Indian plant and global partners (China, Taiwan, Vietnam, etc.).
  • Maintain a dynamic Master Production Schedule (MPS), proactively adjusting for capacity constraints, engineering changes, and shifting customer priorities.
  • Partner with customers to keep demand signals accurate and up-to‑date.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to seamlessly integrate NPI and ECNs into the plan.
  • Troubleshoot production disruptions in real time—re‑sequencing, reallocating, and communicating as needed.


2. Inventory Management

  • Placing orders, setting and maintain safety stock, reorder points, and Kanban quantities across ~1,000 SKUs.
  • Assist in cycle counts and reconciliation to deliver >98 % inventory accuracy.
  • Monitor aging inventory, and service levels; recommend actions to free working capital without risking fill rate.


3. Supply Chain Analytics & Reporting

  • Build and maintain dashboards (Excel / Power BI) covering capacity utilization, supplier OTIF, freight spend, and other key metrics.
  • Analyze historical demand to sharpen forecast accuracy and dampen order spikes, focusing on high-impact suppliers.
  • Identify bottlenecks and propose process or layout changes to improve flow, shorten lead times, and compress the cash-to‑cash cycle.


4. Logistics Support

  • Collaborate with suppliers by consolidating shipments to align with production requirements and demand.
  • Track ocean, air, and LTL shipments; support optimization of container utilization and freight spend.
  • Track in-transit orders, update ETA’s in the ERP, and communicate changes to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with Incoterms, customs regulations, and import documentation requirements.


5. Cross Functional Communication & Continuous Improvement

  • Provide clear, concise supply chain status updates to Sales, Operations, and Engineering.
  • Lead regular production planning huddles with key supply partners and customers.
  • Support Quality & Engineering on first article approvals, ECNs, and supplier readiness.
  • Document and iterate SOPs for planning, forecasting, and inventory control.


Qualifications & Experience

  • 4-6 Years in production planning, materials management, or supply chain analytics within a manufacturing environment.
  • Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Confidence interacting with suppliers, customers,
  • Hands on experience with ERP/MRP systems (OrderTime, Epicor, or equivalent) and advanced Excel; Power BI a strong plus.
  • Solid grasp of manufacturing processes, inventory control methodologies, and capacity planning.
  • Analytical, detail‑oriented, and comfortable manipulating large data sets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills – demonstrating an ability to communicate from the shop floor to the C‑suite.
  • APICS/ASCM CPIM, CSCP, or similar certification is an asset.

Responsibilities
Position Summary:
The Demand Planner is responsible for the development of the short and long-range demand forecast for their assigned categories and distribution centers, including managing promotional activity and achieving accuracy metrics that enables the company to achieve both the financial service and cost objectives? This role will recognize forecast trends/patterns to provide business insights through historical sales, future trends, pricing, seasonality, and other qualitative data.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
+ Develop demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons using JDA Software
+ Understand the dynamics of assigned categories and items, including seasonality, pricing, trends, ad campaigns, category role, sales objectives, and drivers
+ Collaborate and contribute to forecasts, promotions and new item launches with Customers and other Supply Chain groups
+ Provide input to the Supply Planning team in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products and promotions, and product phase-outs? Collaborate with Supply Planning, Promotions Planning and other areas of operations to mitigate the inventory impact of sudden changes in demand
+ Proactively monitor forecast error/accuracy including root cause analysis that leads to continuous improvement in accuracy metrics
+ Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results
+ Proactively participate in identifying opportunities for process improvement & work on driving solutions
+ Perform analysis on Key Performance Indicators (forecast accuracy, forecast error) and implement solutions
+ Other projects or duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
+ 2-3 years' experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, Analytics or Supply Chain related field
+ Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates
+ Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts?
+ Strong collaboration and relationship building through cross functional alignment
+ Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of management, peers, and partners, as necessary
+ Critical thinking skills required to analyze data with ability to define root cause, and corrective action
+ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite of tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
+ This position must pass a post-offer background check
Preferred Skills and Experience:
+ Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Statistics, Business, or related field. Relevant work experience will be considered
+ Experience in retail or restaurant supply chain industry preferred
+ Proficiency in forecasting and planning systems (JDA or similar)
+ APICS or other forecasting certification preferred

Tasks to be Accomplished
+ Plan the sourcing selection process and lead the project team through specific supplier evaluation and selection, adhering to all required organization policies and procedures.
+ Lead negotiation efforts on applicable subcontracts and support negotiation efforts for related contracts with suppliers of; optical sensor and laser systems/subsystems, satellite communications and video capture equipment, integration components, vehicle platforms and other items as defined by the project/program scope of work.
+ Work in collaboration with Bids and Proposals, Program Managers, Systems Engineers, Project Engineering and Contracts to develop Work Packages, Statements of Work (SOW), RFP and manage workflows through the approval process.
+ Ensure complete flow down of customer contractual requirements into subcontract T&C's
+ Resolve subcontractor issues through the use of Lean and Continuous Improvement tools.
+ Responsible for reporting and achieving program milestones (cost, delivery and quality).
+ Support /Negotiate Aftermarket requirements including warranty agreements, Repair Materials Authorization (RMA) process and associated turnaround (TAT/RTAT) times for repairs as defined by the subcontract.
+ Grow Subcontractor and Supplier relationships to ensure continued or improved performance levels are achieved.
+ Support new business opportunities through the Bid & Proposal process by providing market intelligence, overall supplier capabilities, product material/service costing, alignment to program technology roadmaps and potential future ventures.
+ Work closely with Supply Chain leadership team to support site and corporate supply chain strategies, processes and priorities.
Skills Required
+ Ten years of experience in a Subcontract role with a background in Defense/Aerospace market is preferred but will consider complementary market segments focused on electro-mechanical manufacturing, custom automation design/manufacture and deployment.
+ Firm understanding and demonstrated application of Subcontracts and Supply Chain Principles.
+ Ability to handle multiple projects and establish priorities in an environment where priorities may compete.
+ Excellent communicator both written and verbal.
+ Experience travelling to global supplier locations (North America, Europe and the Middle East) and working with varied business cultures.
+ Clear and concise understanding of Controlled Goods requirements and regimes (ITAR, CGP), with demonstrated ability to ensure compliance through sourcing, contracting and execution phases of programs/projects.
+ Clear and concise understanding FAR/DFARS requirements.
+ Ability to influence strategy and execution plans at the Director and VP levels.
+ Proficiency with MS Office and ERP tools with specific focus on project scheduling and task management applications.
+ Experience in performing detailed cost and financial analysis on total subcontract life cycles .
+ Strong team player, with proven problem solving and critical thinking skills .
Experience & Education Requirements
+ Undergraduate Degree in a Business/Supply Chain Management or related field (will consider equivalent experience in A&D).
+ PMP, APICS accreditation (or working towards accreditation) an asset.
+ Role requires qualification for and maintenance of NATO and Controlled Good Program clearances (company sponsored)
