**What the ROLE is:**
The role is responsible for drafting drawings, plans, diagrams and layouts for residential and commercial projects. The Draftsperson will provide these drawings to both the sales team and production line.
**Create & Review Drawings (75%)**
§ Complete full set of drawings, elevations, floor plans, sections and details,
§ Review fellow draftsperson’s drawings before issued to production,
§ Preparation of drawings for shop purposes,
**Communicate Changes / Resolve Concerns (10%)**
§ Manage email and phones to communicate with all departments regarding specific projects, general topics/questions and changes as necessary,
§ Ensure that final sales drawings reflect communicated requests and are within the ability of Northplex to construct,
**Quality Control / Reprinting (15%)**
§ Observe, track and Quality Control (QC) all projects as they are manufactured on the production floor,
§ Observe the construction quality of homes on the production line, ensuring plans are being followed correctly

POSITION SUMMARY :
To perform maintenance functions at manufacturing facilities located in Barrhead;
coordinate and assist and perform equipment maintenance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Work with leadership and production associates and supervisors to improve efficiencies
- Perform regular checks on production equipment
- Lubricate and check all motors on a daily basis or as required
- Assure boiler is being appropriately maintained
- Develop, implement and maintain a comprehensive Preventive Maintenance Program
- Install, repair & program machines and equipment
- Maintain critical inventory levels of all parts and equipment needed for production
- Keep the maintenance shop and work areas clean and organized as per GMP/ISO requirements
- Work with manager(s) to determine and address maintenance needs
- Assist in problem diagnosis; confer with outside representatives as needed
- Assist with the success of production and product handling when necessary
- Be an available resource for facility remodeling projects
- Responsible for self-involvement, team involvement and execution of tasks relative to achieving annual departmental goals
REQUIREMENTS:
- Journeyman Millwright or 3rd year apprentice, preferred with 3-5 year’s maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, understanding and knowledge of PLC’s
- Knowledge of and skilled in the safe execution of the following: electrical, electronic test equipment; mechanical and production equipment repair, operating procedures and techniques; plumbing; use of power and basic hand tools; HVAC
- Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.: stainless steel welding, Boiler operations certified preferred and knowledge of OSHA regulations and Programmable Logic Controller Skills
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to powder mineral products, cleaning chemicals, restricted movement, dirty environment, hazardous materials, lifting and carrying heavy objects
