The Remote Fire Camp Operations Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable and on-schedule transportation for our staff supporting fire camp operations, while providing support in other areas as needed within the fire basecamp operations.

Provide safe and timely transportation of staff, supplies, or equipment between designated pick up areas to and from, and within the fire basecamp operations, including to and from the accommodation units.

Ensure vehicle is clean, fueled, and stocked with required safety/emergency equipment
Operate vehicle in compliance with company policies and Highway Traffic Act, obliging to bush road protocols, speed limits, signage, and traffic protocols
Maintain clear communication with dispatch or supervisors while on duty, including Road Radio Protocol on bush roads
Use fuel cards responsibly and track mileage and work hours accurately

Previous experience transporting personnel is required
Strong attention to detail and well-organized

Experienced with Road Radio Protocol on bush roads
Ability to commit to a minimum 2 week rotation
Comfortable working and staying in rustic, remote settings and
