- Follows manufacturer and internal maintenance programs and inspection procedures

- Engages and participates in Ledcor safety policies and procedures

- Complete maintenance records and documentation as required


**Qualifications**

- Journeyperson Truck and Trailer Technician (On-Road & Off-Road) or registered Apprentice with a recognized provincial authority

- Experience with heavy civil construction, highway paving, or highway maintenance equipment (e.g., snowplows) is an asset

- CVIP mechanic license is an asset

- Must successfully pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing

- Valid Driver’s License with the ability to provide a 3-year driver’s abstract

- Strong ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions, including those with sketches and diagrams

- Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision


# **Work Conditions**

- Work is based in Fort Nelson, BC. with occasional travel to field operations

- Preference may be given to local applicants due to the nature of the work

- As LHL respond to changing weather conditions, some on call duties may be required

**Work Conditions:**

Job duties:

Take customers' orders accurately

Use grill, oven, dispensers and other equipment to prepare fast food items such as sandwiches, baked goods and other beverages

Portion, assemble, and wrap food or place it directly on plates for service to patrons, and package take-out food

Use equipment to prepare hot beverages such as coffee and tea specialties

Serve customers at counters

Stock refrigerators and keep records of the quantities of food used

May receive payment for food items purchased

Clean areas after use

Provide amazing customer service

Prepare log books

Follow Tim Hortons standards

Requirements

Able to work mornings, afternoons, evenings and night shifts

Punctual

Willing to work day, evening and weekend shifts

Attention to detail

Passion to create exceptional guest services

As a member of our Patient Watch team, you will be responsible for monitoring patients who require additional observation to ensure their safety and well-being. This role is crucial in preventing falls, self-harm, or any other incidents. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and observe patients on a continuous basis, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Report any changes in patient behavior or condition to the healthcare team promptly.
  • Assist with patient mobility and positioning as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to provide reassurance and support.
  • Document observations and activities accurately and promptly.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Respond quickly and appropriately to any emergency situations or patient needs.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, including medical emergencies, disturbances, and safety hazards.
  • Interact with patients, visitors, and staff in a calm and respectful manner, resolving conflicts and addressing concerns to maintain a peaceful environment.
  • Utilize effective de-escalation techniques to manage volatile situations and prevent escalation to violence.

Requirements:

  • Valid BC Security Guard License
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals in a healthcare setting
  • Previous experience in security, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment
  • Excellent observational and problem-solving skills with the ability to remain composed under pressure
  • Basic computer skills for report writing and incident documentation
  • Ability to complete detailed reports, multi-task, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Must undergo a criminal background check
  • Post-secondary education in Police Foundations, Community Justice Services, or Law Enforcement is an asset
