The Role

This position requires a degree of specialized expertise and skill in maintaining established standards of safety, quality and accuracy. The successful candidate will have the drive, determination and a self-disciplined approach to achieving results that meet the established criteria.

Key Responsibilities:

• Grid installation
• Inspection/repair
• Cage and net installation and removal
• Net washing
• General site maintenance
• Harvest assistance may be required, along with other duties

Qualifications:

• Fishing Master IV
• Willing to travel locally.

* Rotating and flexible work hours are required.

* As per company policy, a clear result of a pre-employment criminal background check is required.

As a leader of the maintenance barge crew, you must be able to exercise the necessary authority to assure policies and procedures are followed and time frames are met. Excellent people management and communication skills are essential to build effective crew and organizational relationships.

Le poste

Ce poste exige une expertise et des compétences spécialisées dans le maintien des normes établies de sécurité, de qualité et d'exactitude. Le candidat retenu fera preuve de dynamisme, de détermination et d'autodiscipline pour atteindre des résultats conformes aux critères établis.

Principales responsabilités :

Installation de grilles

Inspection/réparation

Installation et retrait de cages et de filets

Lavage de filets

Entretien général du site

Une assistance à la récolte peut être requise, en plus d’autres tâches.

Qualifications :

Maître de pêche IV

Disponible en déplacements locaux.

* Horaires de travail flexibles et rotatifs requis.

* Conformément à la politique de l’entreprise, une vérification des antécédents judiciaires préalable à l’embauche est requise.

En tant que chef d’équipage de la barge de maintenance, vous devez être en mesure d’exercer l’autorité nécessaire pour garantir le respect des politiques et procédures et des délais. D’excellentes compétences en gestion du personnel et en communication sont essentielles pour établir des relations efficaces au sein de l’équipage et de l’organisation.

SANITATION WORKER

Cooke is a global seafood company with operations in North America, Europe, and South America. The Role:

We are seeking seasonal Sanitation Workers to join our team.

This position is responsible for diligently sanitizing the production lines and equipment, preparing foot and hand dips, as well as general housekeeping such as, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, garbage disposal, and general cleaning of the common areas and as well as transporting fish.

As part of the sanitation team, you will be handling and mixing cleaning chemicals; therefore, sound judgement and strict adherence to our Safe Operating Procedures (SOP) and use of Personal Protective Equipment is required.

Primary duties of this role include, but are not limited to:

· Clean work areas and sanitize equipment.

· Unload fish from fishing vessels and transport them by hand or forklift to work area in fish processing plant.

· Weigh fish and record weight and pack fish in ice

· Transport supplies, ice, and packaging materials throughout plant and storage area manually or with powered equipment

· Dump tubs of fish into hoppers.

The successful candidate will be an individual who has a strong focus to detail, works well in a high demanding, deadline driven environment as part of a team while respecting and adhering to quality control and health and safety regulations
