JOB SUMMARY
The Accounting Officer is responsible for processing accounts payable by ensuring timely entry and payment of invoices, managing documentation, and addressing any issues or inquiries. The role also includes providing financial and accounting support for various projects, responding to internal and external inquiries, assisting with audits, reconciling bank statements, and maintaining confidentiality. Additionally, the officer contributes to process improvements and supports team initiatives within the Accounting division and the broader Inuvialuit Corporate Group (ICG).
This is a full-time position, and we are currently hiring for two (2) vacancies.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- One year of related work experience or 2-3 years in a non-accounting financial role.

JOB SUMMARY
The Regional Youth Coordinator serves the Inuvialuit Settlement Region by working on individual, community and regional concerns regarding youth mental health and wellness. The Coordinator will be required to consult workplans, strategies and research findings specific to Inuit, to deliver information, workshops, and offer support to the youth in the region, in the areas of need.
The Regional Youth Coordinator may also assist with the after-care plans (via references to Manager of OTL Programs) as well as connect clients to current and active supports in and out of the community. The Coordinator provides leadership and logistics coordination for the Regional Youth Advisory Group (RYAG). They will support RYAG to meet their goals in representing the youth perspectives in the ISR by ensuring that these are reflected in decisions related to learning, governance, and community development.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must be/have:
- Two years of related hands-on experience working with at-risk or high-risk youth
- A certificate or diploma in youth development, administration, or a related field such as mental wellness or human/social development
- Experience leading and coordinating youth programming, preferably related to health and wellness
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible work hours (including occasional evenings/weekends)
- Knowledge of Inuvialuit culture and communities
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License (or ability to obtain)
Preference may be given to candidates with the following:
- Fluency in Inuvialuktun or another Indigenous language
- Experience working in northern or remote communities
- Familiarity with the Inuvialuit Final Agreement
- Facilitation or mentorship training (e.g., ASIST, SafeTalk, MHFA)

Aureus Solutions is seeking an individual to conduct drinking water sampling in the local area. No experience is needed. This position is an ideal match for someone looking for a 2nd job or someone who is semi-retired.
The anticipated workload is between 8-20 hours per year. Sampling can be scheduled with a significant amount of flexibility, but must be conducted during normal working hours (Mon-Fri between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm).
This role involves some travel to neighbouring communities. Must have a valid drivers licence and access to a personal vehicle and a cell phone. Mileage reimbursement will be provided where applicable.

Responsibilities
· Schedule (with Project Coordinator) and complete water sampling. The exact amount of sampling will vary by year, but it is anticipated to take 1-4 sampling days/year. Schedule will be flexible, and response time is not immediate and can be coordinated around technician’s schedule, within reason.
· Travel to sites for sample collection. Travel times can vary depending on the sampling location. Government mileage rates or rental car (for longer trips) is provided.

· Identify and take corrective actions for sampling and sample handling challenges
· Communicate with facility staff in a polite and supportive manner
· Represent Aureus in a professional manner
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience with drinking water and/or wastewater sampling techniques is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work with off-site supervision
- Ability to lift ~30 lbs (sample coolers)
- Ability to work cooperatively with others and in a team environment
- Satisfactory Criminal Background Check.
- Valid driver license and reliable automobile
- Attention to detail
