Job description:
- Manage your schedule and coordinate with company superintendents and clients.
Complete daily pre/post-operation routine and checks.
Drive truck to job sites and operate either the power washer, vacuum and/or rodder.- Task include, hydro-excavation, pipe cleaning, sewer structure cleaning, etc.
- Responsible for documenting work performed.
Day shift, weekdays with occasional emergency call out work (7 days/week).
Mostly local work (West Nipissing - North Bay) with optional out of town work.

Position Overview:
Working an average of 50 hours per week on jobsites in Northern Ontario, you will be reporting to your supervisor. A Heavy Equipment Operator's responsibilities focus on operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction or mine sites. This position requires a deep understanding of construction processes, grades, soil types, attention to details and mechanical functions of equipment. A heavy equipment operator performs most of his work in the cab of the equipment sheltered from the elements. He works often in a group setting around other heavy equipment and field workers. He must perform some physical tasks daily related to the basic maintenance of the equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and maintain equipment, complete and submit daily pre and post operation checks of equipment and tools
- Execute work directions in a professional, safe and efficient manner
- Practice safe ground disturbance
- Expose and operate equipment around existing underground utilities
- Operate equipment around existing overhead utilities are in proximity of existing structures
- Excavate, place, load, compact, manage different types of soil effectively to obtain desired results
- Operate various types of equipment including excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, compactors, etc.
Type of work varies to road building, civil infrastructure, demolition, landscaping, concrete, paving, site work, etc.
- Tasks including but not limited to trenching, grade excavations, ditching, removals, demolition, rigging, material grading, etc.

Position Overview:
Working an average of 44 hours per week on a continental schedule in a shop or field setting, you will be reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. This position services, maintains and repairs the entire fleet of equipment safely and efficiently. The Truck and Coach Mechanic primarily works on trucks and trailers however he or she will also perform work on heavy equipment when required. All work completed is subject to Ed Seguin & Sons Policies, the provisions of The Ministry of Transportation and Ministry of Labour Regulations and Maintenance Manuals of the specific equipment. The Truck and Coach Mechanic will be responsible to perform annual safety certificates for commercial vehicles and trailers. He may also provide support and training to an Apprentice Mechanic as per Apprenticeship Ontario.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform the activities of mechanic to repair and maintain ESS equipment
Accept repair calls perform field repairs
Inspect motors in operation, road test and test systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate faults
Adjust, repair or replace parts and components including fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems using hand tools and other specialized repair equipment
Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturers performance specifications
Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups
Inspect and report equipment condition and list future repair requirements
Prepare electronic reports as required
Support a safe work environment and maintain the facility in a neat and orderly manner
Conduct vehicle inspection as required by provincial and divisional regulations and policies
Complete all delegated work orders according to established procedures
Welding, fabrication, other duties as assigned

- Diagnostic experience with CAT, Cummins, Detroit, Bendix, Wabco, Haldex, Ford, GM.

Position Overview:
