Your RoleAs the Grain Originator, the successful candidate will complement the high-volume contracts of the Merchandising department by developing and maintaining relationships with key grain producers in the area, actively acquiring market information, and sourcing grain directly from farms to bring in-house to meet both export and domestic customer needs.Day to Day

  • Registration with the OCSWSSW or the CRPO.
  • Supervisory experience in a Not-for-profit, unionized environment is a strong asset.
  • Proven ability to lead by example, engage and mentor staff, and guide teams toward successful project completion and goal achievement with humility and efficiency.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong strategic planning, team building and facilitation skills.
  • Change management experience is considered an asset.
  • Flexible hours as needed, rotating on-call schedule.
