Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking Tire Loaders to join their team. As a Tire Loader, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting tire loading and logistics teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong teamwork, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Tire Loaders
Location: Bridgewater, NS
Pay Range: Piece work and Downtime rates
Shift: Rotational shift times starting at 5am, 10am and 2pm
What's the Job?
- Operate forklift trucks to stage pallets of tires according to a defined pick-list
- Count and verify load quantity and quality to meet safety and quality standards
- Complete checklists and related paperwork to ensure safety and operational compliance
- Manually lift and stack tires in trailers following specified stacking patterns - physically demanding
What's Needed?
- Ability to lift up upwards of 65 lbs and work in varying temperature environments
- Valid Powered Industrial Vehicle license issued by Michelin with specific vision and training requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills and ability to follow safety protocols
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and equipment
