Brewer


The brewer position is responsible for carrying out brewhouse and cellar operations. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a team player mentality.


Roles and Responsibilities


- Operate the Brewhouse; following recipes and ensuring overall quality
- Yeast management; following all procedures for harvesting, pitching, cell concentration

and viability checks


- Cleaning and Sanitizing of tanks, filter equipment, hoses, etc
- Dose, blend, and mix products
- Understanding and practicing all internal safety standards
- Assist in a new project and product development
- Brewing area housekeeping
- Assist with creation and maintenance of SOP’s
- Perform organizational tasks and problem solving
- Other duties as required

Qualifications and Requirements


- Formal Brewing Experience, 1-2 years experience preferred.
- Education in Brewing, Food Science, Chemistry or Microbiology an asset
- Able to perform minor maintenance repairs
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, team work and proactivity
- Strong organizational and time management skills;
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, and;
- A strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritize.

Working Conditions


- Position may require long periods of standing and walking;
- Required to work in a loud, open area;
- May be required to lift heavy objects and complete tasks that are physically demanding,

and;


- Required to meet a number of deadlines which may cause stress.

Job Summary: As a Class 1 Propane Delivery Driver , you will work with our Dispatch team to deliver product safely to our residential and commercial customers. Your goal will be to provide a meaningful and essential service to our Avenir Energy customers in a safety focused environment. 
 
Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload truck with propane, adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
  • Work with our dispatch teams to develop routes using your knowledge of geography, and the needs of our customers.
  • Deliver product to both our residential and commercial customers in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Complete daily pretrip/post trip inspections and all other paperwork required.
  • Report any potential hazards to dispatch. 
  • Ensure compliance with all company and government policies and regulations.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and discussions
  • Work schedule will vary - need willingness to occasionally work evenings and/or weekends
  • Other duties as required by supervisor.
 
Qualifications:
  • Valid Class 1 AZ Commercial Driver’s license
  • Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience
  • Clean CVOR / personal driving record within Company standards. 
  • Able to perform the physical demands of loading and unloading propane.
  • Experience delivering propane is required.
 
Knowledge & Skills:
  • Knowledge of propane considered an asset.
  • Ability to work various shifts.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Avenir Energy is looking for a 310T Apprentice Truck Technician  to join our growing team. This role is responsible for performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and related equipment. You’ll play a key part in keeping our fleet safe, efficient, and fully operational while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. If you're a registered apprentice or licensed technician who takes pride in quality work and solving mechanical problems, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical issues using standard testing procedures and diagnostic equipment.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and inspections in accordance with company and manufacturer specifications.
  • Conduct comprehensive repairs on gas and diesel engines, as well as truck systems and components.
  • Complete emergency roadside repairs when required.
  • Examine and adjust safety-related components including guards, bolts, and protective systems.
  • Submit accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and Avenir’s Health and Safety Policy.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Stay current through ongoing technical training and review of factory service bulletins.
  • Tag and retain parts when applicable under warranty guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Registered Apprentice (310T), preferably in the first or second year.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of tools, equipment, materials, and best practices related to heavy-duty vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Experience with computer-based diagnostic tools and systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.
  • High attention to safety and efficiency in all work practices.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; AZ or DZ license is an asset.
  • SAP experience is an asset.

  • Respond to a high volume of customer inquiries across multiple channels, meeting an 85% Service Level. 

  • Obtain and evaluate relevant information to handle customer inquiries, orders, and complaints with speed and professionalism. 

  • Direct or escalate requests and unresolved issues to the appropriate resource for prompt resolution. 

  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue through inside sales initiatives. 

  • Perform customer and credit verifications, including using tools like Equifax, and handle credit card pre-authorizations. 

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions, ensuring transparency and accountability. 

  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery. 

  • Other duties as assigned to support branch and customer service operations. 

Qualifications: 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience.
