Parsons is seeking a **MCM Project Coordinator** to join our team to support the Faro Mine Remediation Project in Faro, Yukon. The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing northern construction or remediation projects, coordinating diverse contractor activities, and ensuring compliance with industrial health, safety, and environmental standards. Responsibilities include managing site access documentation, enforcing regulations and policies, and directing 3rd party contractors to ensure safe and compliant operations.
_Local Candidates preferred but open to candidates who are available on a fly-in/fly-out rotational basis. This position works shifts of_ _14 days_ _with 12 hours per shift_ _._ _This role includes paid travel to and from the site as well as housing accommodations, but employees_ _are responsible for_ _providing their own food/meals._
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Coordination with other project stakeholders in the review and approval of all required site-access submittal documentation for Canada work programs and tours.
+ Conduct and take minutes for a daily contractor coordination meeting.
+ Facilitate safe and timely access to site for visitors, 3rd parties, etc.
+ Assist in creating a web-based Site Access process/tools for subcontractors and for visitors.
+ Ensure proposed work sites are pre-inspected for readiness, identified hazards are mitigated prior to the commencement of work, and that necessary permits have been obtained.
+ Working with the H&S Manager to ensure site orientations have been conducted and that a kickoff meeting takes place prior to the commencement of work.
+ Coordinate work scope activities with appropriate stakeholders where there is potential overlap of work activities and potential synergies.
+ Provide managerial oversight for all Canada sponsored 3rd party work programs and other external parties granted access to site.
+ Diligently support the communication of hazards to all personnel on site.
+ Working with MCM Health & Safety and Environment teams, audit the outputs of 3rd parties against committed deliverables identified in submittal documentation.
+ Prior to demobilization, audit work areas for completeness and ensure any identified issues are addressed in a timely fashion.
+ Plan and coordinate with internal Parsons resources where their support may be required to assist 3rd parties in support of their work.
+ Participate in meetings related to 3rd party work scopes.
+ Ensure all 3rd parties adhere to site access and radio protocols.
+ Support H&S and Enviro with inspections. Perform Northern Mines management inspections of active work sites.
+ Ensures all 3rd party incidents are immediately reported and investigated in a timely fashion.
+ Assist other Parsons departments (H&S, Environment, C&M Frontline Supervisors) with risk management coaching and mentoring of new staff in the field.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ 3+ years' experience in contractor management and a minimum of 5 years' experience in open pit mining and/or heavy civil construction.
+ College degree, trade certificate or equivalent in related field (business, project management, civil/mining engineering).
+ Proven ability to manage complexity, multitasking, holding people to account, and problem solving, in an industrial and/or civil environment.
+ Strong reading comprehension and professional writing skills.
+ Ability to produce accurate and timely annual and monthly reports.
+ Skills communicating with contractors, the client, and other stakeholders.
+ Knowledge of drilling, excavating and the administration of work permits - ground disturbance, hot work, electrical encroachment, etc. 
+ Front Line Supervisor training is considered an asset.

Your Opportunity
We are looking to expand our archaeology team and are seeking a full time Archaeologist to lead field programs. Work will focus on projects across various service lines in the Yukon, with opportunities to contribute to projects in British Columbia.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead cultural resource management assessments
- Prepare technical reports
- Actively participate in Stantec's HSSE programs
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Experience leading field-based cultural resource management assessments, including supervising staff
- Experience identifying traditional use sites and features, CMTs and precontact and historical artifacts
- Ability to hold a Class 2 Yukon Archaeological Site Regulation permit, or possess the required experience to become a permit holder in the near future
- Dedicated to following and promoting a strong safety culture
- Desire to work closely with other environmental professionals and First Nations
- Excellent technical writing skills and experience in cultural resource management, including the preparation of regulatory deliverables
- Self-motivated and ability to solve complex problems using sound professional judgment, creativity and innovation
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License (Yukon), or equivalent
Education and Experience
A Bachelor's degree in Anthropology or Archaeology is required. A Master's degree is an asset.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Cultural Resource Management. Experience in the Yukon is an asset.
Experience working in remote locations is an asset.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather. Ability to lift and move items and equipment up to 50 lbs.

**Pay Range:**
- Locations Outside of Lower Mainland - BC - Min Salary $ 87,400.00 - Max Salary $131,000.00
- Locations in Lower Mainland - BC - Min Salary 92,600.00 - Max Salary 138,900.00
**Pay Transparency:** In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.

Your Opportunity
We are seeking a professional and dynamic Civil Technologist / Technician to join our Infrastructure Practice and specifically Civil Engineering Team in Whitehorse, YT. The successful candidate will coordinate project drawings and specifications with Project Managers, Engineering Leads, CAD staff and others; ensure project needs are met in a timely and effective manner; liaise with drafting coordinators supporting other disciplines; participate in design and preparation of engineering drawings and specifications using the appropriate internal and external standards; prepare plan, section, detail, schematic and construction drawings; and ensure all drawings are in accordance with client specific requirements and company procedures. You will perform a variety of tasks which may include calculations, supporting other teams within the group, facilitating complex projects and large design packages. You will undertake field review services during construction including basic surveying tasks under the direction of a Project Manager or Engineer.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Performs civil design using knowledge of relevant software programs primarily AutoCAD Civil3D including underground utilities (water/sewer conveyance using pipe networks), roadways (alignments using corridors), and site developments (using surface and grading commands).
- Works with other engineering disciplines and professionals in the completion of the project under the direction of a project coordinator or project manager.
- Performs calculations to analyze and design civil system components using company standard software.
- Assists with engineering duties on projects of various complexity and size
- Assists with collecting data and gathering information to support design decisions.
- Assists in basic interpretation and verifying compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards and practices.
- Performs a variety of tasks which may include analyzing proposed project solutions to ensure design integrity, reliability, resource efficiently and cost effectiveness.
- Undertake field review services during construction including basic surveying tasks
- Performs other duties as assigned by project managers or supervisor.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Understanding of concepts of relevant areas of civil engineering design.
- Ability to interpret sketches, drawings, and other similar material.
- Strong organizational skills, along with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and demonstrate a flexible approach to work assignments.
- Experience and a willingness to undertake construction reviews is also required.
- Requires understanding and proficiency of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Basic understanding of topographic or construction layout surveying.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Possession of a valid driver license.
Education and Experience
- Diploma in Computer Aided Design and Drafting Technology, or Civil Engineering Technology.
- Minimum 2-8 years' experience is preferred.

Your Key Responsibilities
- As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for the delivery of municipal and territorial water, sewer, transportation infrastructure, and land development/site servicing projects for clients across the Yukon.
- Directing and providing hands-on management of planning and feasibility studies, pre-design and detailed design and contract administration assignments for public and private sector clients.
- Collaborate on multi-disciplinary projects with other engineering professionals
- Mentoring junior staff; leading them with the planning and design of territorial highway, municipal road works, municipal infrastructure including sewage lagoons, solid waste facilities, water, wastewater and storm water conveyance and pump stations.
- Developing proposals, budgets and schedules, and on-going business development and liaison with clients.
- Collaborating with Team Leaders and Project Managers to identify staffing, equipment, and training requirements.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Working knowledge of relevant municipal infrastructure (water, sewer, storm systems), roadway and highway design guides.
- Familiarity with related software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Experience in the north and with permafrost is an asset
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- P.Eng. or eligible for registration as P.Eng. with the Association of Professional Engineers Yukon.
- Preferred 8 years of related work experience.
