Why we need you

We are looking for SAP ABAP and BTP developers with experience collaborating closely with clients and vendors to build complex customizations and integrations across their SAP and non-SAP solutions. You will be responsible for analyzing and understanding business and technical requirements and developing, testing, and debugging RICEFWs.

What you’ll do

• Drive the modernization and standardization of business processes on the latest SAP solutions.

• Understand business requirements, and translate them into code via design, development, testing, defect analysis and resolution, and implementation.

• Analyze existing configurations and customizations to understand impact across modules to design high-quality solutions.

• Partner with the development and program leads, making recommendations on managing and sequencing releases, tech debt, and defects.

Who you are

• SAP development expert: You have 7+ years of development experience in ABAP (e.g., RESTful ABAP, ABAP Cloud, BAPI, RFC, CDS data models, OData services). You also ideally have knowledge of and experience with BTP and SCP.

  • S/4 implementation experience and certification in SAP ABAP, ABAP Cloud, and BPT are ideal.

• Front-end experience: You have 7+ years of development experience in Fiori, UI5, CRM Web UI, and ideally with related languages such as JavaScript and CSS.

• Solution-builder: You are excited to get your hands dirty doing the work, understand the needs and desired outcomes at a high-level and at a technical level.

• Problem solver: You quickly formulate approaches from functional and technical design documents, and are self-driven to research and ask for help to build complex solutions independently.

• Outcomes driven: You collaborate with your clients and their stakeholders to deeply understand their needs and continuously prioritize your work to meet those needs.

Position: SAP S/4 HANA ABAP Developer
Location: Richmond Hill, ON

The Role
The SAP Developer will assist our team in responding to User requests for enhancements and maintenance for our current S/4 HANA system which is utilized through both GUI t-codes and Fiori apps. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP development and will work with our team to create a more efficient system, while following SAP best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ABAP development based on the user requirements
• Troubleshoot technical issues encountered by the user and provide solutions in a timely manner
• Create technical documentation
• Engage professionally with users when required

• A minimum 5 years of solid experience in S/4 HANA development, specifically in the PP module in SAP

Job Description

Note : This role will require onsite work at client's site 4 days a week. Candidate will have the option to work one day a week remotely.

Must haves:

• 7+ years of SAP ABAP Experience
• Hands-on development experience in Core ABAP, Object-Oriented Programming, RFC, Proxy, BAPI, BADI's, EDI, IDOC, WebServices, OData, API Gateway
• Strong Working knowledge of CDS View, AMDP methods and OData services
• Must have experience developing solutions on SAP MM & SAP SD
• Must be able to legally work in Canada (onsite)

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP ABAP to drive the development and implementation of innovative solutions within our S/4 HANA and SAP BTP landscape.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex ABAP-related issues within the S/4 HANA and SAP BTP environments.

• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventative measures to avoid future issues.

• Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve cross-functional issues.

• Solid understanding of SAP S/4 HANA architecture and functionality.

• Experience with SAP development tools such as Eclipse-based ABAP Development Tools (ADT).
