A.S.P. is looking for an Access Control Security Guard, who can provide quality customer service, efficient resource allocation, and proactively supporting the team. Work with integrity, respect, and take responsibility of the security and safety.
What you will do:
• Providing Security Guard Services through the operation of various security systems and patrolling, such as responding to routine, emergency, security & law enforcement calls, maintaining the utmost confidentiality always.
• CCTV, Access Control System and Visitor Management system Monitoring.
• Observing, investigating, and acting on possible breaches of security, fire and safety hazards, illegal entry, theft and malfunction or interruption of utilities.
• Acting as an ambassador by providing customer service, responding to public inquiries and performing guard tours along designated routes.
• Informing the designated authorities in the event of security, fire, or health emergencies. Activating fire alarm and safety systems and assisting in evacuation procedures. Escorting designated authorities, police, fire, ambulance personnel to emergency locations.
• Recording and maintaining logbooks of daily activities, unusual or special occurrences and issuance of equipment to staff.
• Receiving/recording complaints, preparing incident reports.
• Providing security for protocol functions, demonstrations, and special events.
• Performing duties such as open-up and lock-down procedures, and security/life safety equipment inspections and testing.
• Performing interior and exterior building patrols while reporting any abnormal conditions or deficiencies.
Who you are:
• Minimum High School diploma or Grade 12 education.
• Must have one (1) year of security guard or concierge related experience.
• Eligible to work in Canada.
• Must Possess a valid Security licence and Emergency First Aid & CPR certification.
• Highly presentable and professional appearance and demeanor
• Proficient with various security hardware, software, keying & systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written & verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Able to work on weekends.

ASP is looking for Facility Access Control Guards for an event and concert space in uptown Toronto on a 24/7 basis. Candidates must possess previous security experience and be able to provide highly visible service in a professional, competent, and courteous manner, whilst exercising excellent communication and customer service skills. Working with integrity and awareness, the Facility Access Control Guard takes responsibility for securing and protecting our clients, their guests and vendors, and the property itself.
What you will do:
- Provide protection from theft, vandalism, and trespassing
- Conducting locks and unlocks of doors, gates, and fences
- Physically monitor and patrol the property and event space
- Engage in professional, collaborative, and proactive security services
- Foot patrols on site on an ongoing hourly basis
- Investigate, report, and respond to any incidents as required
- Assist in emergency situations such as evacuations and medical incidents
- Ensure all site equipment is secure
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Operate a site vehicle for conducting property patrols
- Work in compliance with OHSA, AODA, CCC, and PSISA regulations, etc
- Be responsible for keys and other equipment such as cellphones and radios
- Collaborate with event staff, other security organizations, and dispatch personnel
- Perform other relevant functions as required
- Provide oversight and leadership of the site security guards and team lead
- Supervise the completion of all required security tasks
- Conduct site orientation training of new team members
- Provide coaching and discipline if necessary
- Emergency response if required, serving as the point of direction for the site team
- Audit reports, patrols, and equipment logs for completeness and accuracy
- Collaborate closely with ASP management and the site clients
Who you are:
- Must be 25 years of age or older
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of security experience, tactical or events preferred .(previous supervisory or team lead experience is an asset)
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Ability to work in a crowded environment, think critically, and work with a team
- Must possess an Ontario Security Guard License
- Must possess a G driver’s license with a clean abstract
- Must possess valid First Aid, CPR and AED certification (Standard Level C)
- Strong written and verbal communication, including radio use
- Ability to work 12 hour rotations is mandatory, inclusive of holidays and weekends
- Able to walk extended distances, including stairs, in all weather conditions

- Responsible for troubleshooting, isolate and correct service-affecting issues on the network in areas including but not limited to: routing protocols, routers, switches, firewall administration, MPLS, BGP, VPN, load balancing.
- Responsible for building, interconnecting, and supporting networks with one of the cloud providers - Regions and Availability Zones. Including working knowledge and hands-on experience of VPC connectivity, Transit Gateway, Direct link/connect methodologies.
- Conduct research, analyze, recommend, implement, troubleshoot for SDWAN infrastructure (implementation and troubleshooting) (Fortinet and Zscaler products)
- Perform the execution of day-to-day networking operations to guarantee network availability, stability, and serviceability with the least amount of downtime possible.
- Design, maintain the network infrastructure services, including the installation, architecture, design, setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of network and security software and hardware in a mixed vendor environment.
- Review assigned service requests daily, follow up and provide status updates to clients; effectively maintain service delivery status and backlog.
- Lead the technical delivery of projects, including design, configuration, and testing of technical solutions for enterprise-wide projects.
- Work with vendors, customers, partners, providers, and peer technical staff on implementation, optimization, and security of Network and Security system. This includes, but is not limited to, troubleshooting infrastructure and services including routers, switches, access points, load balancers in both an on -premises environment and an Cloud environment, layer 7 firewalls, remote access solutions and site connectivity
- Research, analyze, recommend, and implement new software, hardware, tools, systems, and processes to increase efficiency, lower total cost of ownership, and improve performance.
- Perform infrastructure maintenance and upgrades to client environments.
- Provide incident management and support to the critical issues escalated by Network Security Services Operations, including internal and external communications, team coordination of repair and then root cause analysis efforts.
- Create and review the documentation of the current Network Architecture and develop Network solutions to enhance existing services.

Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $256000 - $352000/YR. Loss Prevention Physical Security Specialist
The Loss Prevention Physical Security Specialist is member of the Loss Prevention Asset Protection team providing technical expertise, technical project fulfillment, and administration and technical services on Loss Prevention systems such as physical security hardware, keys and tokens, locking systems, access control, protection devices, and tactical merchandising supplies, as well as traditional security alarm systems.
The Loss Prevention Physical Security Specialists will work within our locksmith shop, fulfilling customer requests and ensuring timely delivery of security tools and supplies to our customers.
The Loss Prevention Physical Security Technical Specialist will provide support for internal stakeholder groups who use our Loss Prevention systems, security devices and product protection options. In addition, the LP Physical Security Specialist will fulfill or assign requests to vendors for changes and adjustments to access.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Protect all company assets and reduce losses.
- Conduct pinning and servicing of locks and cutting of keys (in workshop or on-site).
- Maintain key records, key controls, system logs, and system records.
- Maintain, prepare, deploy physical security devices and hardware such as keys, display security devices, locks, cash boxes, security signage, and other loss prevention tools.
