Job Description

Our large transportation client located near the 401 in Oshawa is urgently seeking a Data Entry Clerk on contract with opportunity for full-time, to start working ASAP . This is for a day shift, Monday to Friday. You will perform data entry and payroll and billing tasks, along with other administrative functions.

Responsibilities:

• Complete payroll entry and accurately track hours for internal/external company employees/contractors
• Strong attention to details with ability to follow-up for clarification
• Ensure data is entered correctly, with quality
• Make recommendations for improvements
• Organize and maintain accurate records
• Perform all other office tasks, as required

Qualifications:

• Experience with Office and Microsoft Excel required
• Previous experience in office administration and/or payroll
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills

Compensation

• Pay range: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
• Final rate will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, and interview performance. If the role becomes full-time, additional benefits or a revised compensation package may apply.
