Their ASICs are based on CMOS technologies containing large digital blocks and precision analog circuits. As the Digital Design Engineer, you are very interested in working in a dynamic team environment where innovation is highly regarded. What are we looking for?

We're looking for a Creative Design & Video Editor Intern to join us this fall to support our fast-paced marketing team at BetterSleep. In this role, you'll create eye-catching designs and engaging short-form videos for ads and social media, contribute to copywriting tasks, and help write creative briefs that guide production. It's a hands-on opportunity to sharpen your creative skills, learn performance-driven content strategies, and build a portfolio with real-world campaigns for the #1 sleep app. This is a hybrid internship based in Montreal QC working 37.5 hours per week for a period of 4 months starting in September 2025.

Responsibilities
  • Support the creation of short-form videos and static graphics for social media and advertising channels (e.g., Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram)
  • Edit footage, apply transitions, audio, text overlays, and other motion elements using Adobe Suite, CapCut or similar
  • Design thumb-stopping visuals and branded templates using Canva and Adobe Suite
  • Assist with concepting and storyboarding video content for upcoming campaigns
  • Keep up with platform trends, challenges, and emerging formats to inspire creative
  • Collaborate with the creative and growth marketing teams on asset production and iteration
  • Receive and implement feedback from senior creatives and strategists
  • Organize and maintain visual asset libraries and templates

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in public relations, marketing or communications
  • Proficiency in graphic design and video editing – You’re comfortable using Canva and CapCut and can independently execute visual assets from start to finish

As a Qualcomm ASIC Engineer, you will define, model, design (digital and/or analog), optimize, verify, validate, implement, and document IP (block/SoC) development for a variety of high performance, high quality, low power world class products. Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross-functional groups to determine product execution path.
+ Oversees definition, design, verification, and documentation for ASIC development for a variety of products.
+ Determines architecture design, logic design, and system simulation.
+ Defines module interfaces/formats for simulation.
+ Evaluates all aspects of the process flow from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power use.
+ Analyzes equipment to establish operation data, conducts experimental tests, and evaluates results.
+ Uses System tools, such as National Instrument (NI) products, LabVIEW, and MathWorks MATLAB, SIMULINK, VISIO and other toolboxes.
+ Uses language such as HDL, C, PERL.
+ Provides technical expertise for next generation initiatives.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field.
**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Uses tools/applications (i.e., Cadence, RTL Compiler, etc.) to execute advanced architecture and design of multiple complex blocks and makes suggestions for design protocol.
+ Develops an implementation strategy that meets system requirements and customer needs for team.
+ Effectively utilizes advanced problem solving and ASIC engineering practices to resolve complex architecture, design, or verification problems.
+ Owns the design and verification strategies of ASICs, SoC, and IP cores, reviews the strategies of more junior team members and develops strategies for multiple blocks or IC Packages.
+ Reviews complex tests from more junior team members and completes own tests to ensure that bugs are fully understood and analyzed.
+ Runs advanced power checks on multiple blocks to ensure design specifications are met; makes recommendations to leadership when specifications are not met.
+ Interprets the results of highly complex performance checks and reports them to team lead.
+ Stays up to date on technical literature and technological advances and suggests areas for innovation.
+ Writes, reviews, and edits own technical document in accordance with template and reviews and provides feedback on more junior engineers' documentation.
+ Maintains regular communication with key team members to ensure continued alignment between team deliverables and product execution plan.
+ Writes technical documentation and provides technical expertise for design or project reviews and project meetings to ensure team's best interest is represented.
+ Acts as a tech lead on small to large projects and owns team deliverables of the project.
+ Continually evaluates process used in team to facilitate effective work-flow for possible improvement.
**Minimum Experience:**
+ 3 to 6 years of experience in ASIC RTL design
**Preferred Experience:**
+ Familiar with industry high speed interface standards, such as MIPI, Display Port, HDMI, PCIe, USB
